Paid £89 for the privilege of spending 3 hours sleeping in a room with no view that reeked of urine from the moment we stepped in. The only USB ports in the bedroom were broken, and when I asked the staff member if we could be moved to a room with working USBs, I was told to buy a charger adapter from a neighbouring hotel. Food service was closed when we arrived, and the only other option to eat in the area was to get delivery food which would have taken an hour to prepare and send to us. We did just need a cheap and cheerful room for the night before a very early flight, but this experience was ranked as one of the worst I’ve had in my 15 years in the UK. Next time I’d rather sleep on the floor of the airport and not waste my money.

Hotel is ok. Functional and busy. The hotel is fine for an airport hotel. Walking distance from terminal if you don’t have big bags. The walk is not very pedestrian friendly and up and down hill.

Disappointing and cold start at Ibis.

It was an awful stay. The room at the hotel was incredibly basic and worse still it was very very cold. After 1 hour it was still cold. We went to reception and they immediately changed it time without question. Excellent service, however, the room we moved to was no warmer and we did not sleep. The food in the evening was pretty much inedible and cold and very expensive for a club sandwich. The choice of alcohol was limited. They had no Guinness ( my first choice) then no Stella ( my second choice). A very disappointing stay in a very run down hotel. The staff were however extremely polite and efficient.

Very little power in the shower, not able to wash properly. The bathroom door was broken. Noisy air-conditioner. No information on the website for an additional £13.00 for overnight parking for the guests of the hotel. Otherwise- Very friendly staff, excellent service.

When we arrived they gave us a room key when we went to room went in someone else’s things in room Went back down to tell reception no one came to check gave us another key to another room. Which shower didn’t work toilet door didn’t close all really poor. We had booked a second night on our return flight from holiday arrived late went to get into bed blood all over the carpet, using shower in morning flooded bathroom absolute shambles really poor and really disappointing

One sentence to describe this place: “The hotel that couldn’t care less”. No care for the comfort or safety of its residents. The staff are demotivated and disinterested. Checking in at 1:00am (with a reservation) took over half an hour as the receptionist decided to serve a walk-in customer who was arguing about the rate. Then, the receptionist transformed into bar tender, also to serve the walk-in customer a soft drink; all the while, we were exhausted, waiting desperately to be given a key to the room. Meanwhile the person who was in front of me, returned to the desk after he was issued a key to room that hadn’t been serviced. He took photos! So he had to be issued with a different key. We were checking in during a stormy and snowy night. The car park had not been cleared. Cars were slipping on the ice. No one cared even though there is a grit box on site. The real misery started when I got to my room. The heating has to be turned on manually. It fusent work (although the fan made the right noises). The duvet is fit for a cool summer evening. I flipped it on itself to get more warmth. There are no additional blankets. The shower and the bath tap work simultaneously… the bath is being filled while you shower!! They had run out of basic amenities at reception. And they couldn’t care less. All I can say that I was glad to get out of that awful hotel as soon as daylight broke. Never again in Ibis!!
