Nice enough place but enough issues to not keep it on the list. The gym is nice but so small and overcrowded. Check in line was outrageously long. The room was large and very nice but almost no towels and the AC couldn’t handle the temps in March so it was always warm in the room. What happens in the summer?

I thought it was very amusing that the pizza place was called pizza forte and we spent $40 on pizza slices. The steakhouse cooked my $80 steak two times and it still was not good. They did not cook it. The steakhouse was subpar, but they gave us a free mashed potato after we already ordered. Anything else. Hang a picture in the suite.

This was a great option off the strip. 20 min walk to the strip and 30 minute walk to the Sphere and we felt safe the entire time. The hotel is in great shape. At checkup we were offered an upgrade to a suite in the Ruby Tower for $43 and we took it and we’re glad we did, the BR, LR and BR were huge (750’ room). The 2nd floor gym and coffee/juice bar were excellent and very convenient. Highly recommend this hotel.

I booked a room from Friday-Sunday I asked the housekeeper if she could replace the bottle for the body wash pump to be replaced when she cleaned my room she said that my room was not on the list. I called the front desk and nobody answered. There for my room didn’t get cleaned.

The initial room temp was a chilly 65 degrees. I thought no problem... I'll just turn the temp to a comfortable 72 degrees. Unfortunately, heating system was broken and I was unable to heat the room. Called the front desk and the Maintenance Man was dispatched to my room. He worked on the heater and informed me it was beyond repair. The Hotel Manager switched my Wife and I to another room. The new room had drain problems. The shower and sink would NOT drain properly. We were unable to shower or wash up. The Hotel Manager offered us temporary access to yet another room to shower and wash. I declined and requested a FULL refund. The Manager only agreed to waive the "resort fee". This was unacceptable. In short, the Virgin Hotel is rather new but it still has the old Hard Rock hotel infrastructure, plumbing, and mechanical faults. Terrible experience :-(

Hard to check in, line was very long. Had to carry all our own bags really far. Dunkin Donuts was awful and very slow but was the only choice for coffee. The room was nice and I liked the sitting vanity mirror. Kinda strange to have a door that does not open to the outside. Also, they have doorbells and someone kept ringing our bell in the morning. The neighbor wanted to ack us about our mini bar waking us up :(. I found out you can turn the doorbell off. The heated pool was really warm and nice. Sad to learn about the strike and to be yelled at by strikers every time we went in and out of the property we got called losers and had signs stuck out in front of our windshield. I support the strike I didn’t know anything about it until I got there and had already paid. So it’s not cool yelling at me coming from another state where I had no idea before getting there was not something I deserved. Pizza place was good but closes too early. The best thing about the hotel was the cleaner for our room. She was super friendly and helped us with our check out issues. One more weird thing was that they have a ride share area but there are no benches or places to sit. In the hallways there was dust on the carpets. They need to pay the employees the same as the other properties in Vegas they are the ones that make the stay a good experience.
