A swim up bar without a bartender. Entertainment staff absent during the day. The staff just are not friendly and act like they would rather be any where else. The only person who routinely smiled and said hello was the wonderful women who cleaned our room. The buffet was ok. The grill restaurant was good (food could have been warmer). Mediterranean restaurant the humus was great entree was bland. Tex Mex. Restaurant was great and the servers were nice. The Dominican restaurant was awful 😞 the staff we ride the food was cold and not what we ordered. We stay 3 weeks from February 25 on. This resort is just ok for the price just be aware not your typical all inclusive resort. Go somewhere that wants your business.

The property and the room was clean and safe. The food is good and the all inclusive is a good decision. The staff is helpful and polite. It's a big resort and my opinion would be better if some negatives were not excited. The biggest problem we had to deal was the noise. Our room was close to the beach and the speakers were playing so loud all day until 10:40pm. Especially at the evening the microphones and the music were extremely loud that you couldn't hear even your TV. We complained but nothing happened. We also had problem to communicate in English. The resort is isolated and you can not go out anywhere around so the food had to be more convenient with the times because you have no other choice if you miss the launch or dinner. Also you must have more choices to buy things you may need in the resort. The shop is expencive and has to be more update with basic things to buy because of no choice to go anywhere else for market.I didn't see also doctor office for minor emergency situations. Overall we our satisfied with our stay to the resort and we would recommend it for everyone. Our review is only for the reason to get the resort better. We loved our stay there and to the Dominican republic.

If you’re looking for a nice beach at a reasonable price look no further! Everything was clean, the food was ok except for the seafood buffet and grill they were amazing. Always got a lounge chair. Always got drinks. Coffe bar was great I brought almond milk from breakfast everyday. Highly rec

The resort is a little outdated, but still in a decent shape. Small enough to easily walk to the beach, pool, restaurants, etc...the beach area is very shaded with plenty of lounge chairs. Bring bug/mosquitoes repellent or ask for room in the upper floor. What I like: 1) Small resort with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and pools. Great for kids and elders. 2) The beach is nice, very shaded, with plenty of lounge chairs to relax 3) The rooms with balcony/ocean view are nice, good to sit and relax. What I DID NOT Like: 1) The FOOD was very BAD, both in term of quality and selection. On average, the buffet has about 10 main dishes each time, but they were mostly very bland and tasteless. I also noticed that they used a lot of the leftovers from the prior day to cook foods for the next day (just in different form). The quality was also bad. For example, beef steaks were very chewy. Seafoods tasted like they were from frozen bags. 2) The resort is very far from Punta Cana airport (PUJ), about 1.5 hour car ride. I didnt realize that until after I finished with all the reservations. You can fly into other nearby airports. 3) The staff was friendly, but mostly didnt speak much English at all. Only a few spoke some English. 4) The check-in process was VERY LONG. The agent checked us in, disappeared for a while, came back, and left again. No information was provided, just left us. 5) Only Presidente beer is included. All other import beers, you have to pay ($7 )

Fine to just relax and enjoy the beach. Thé food, the beer and drinks are fine. Thé negative is this hotel is 2 hours away from porto plata, 160.00 us for transportation. The rooms are fine but no dresser or hooks for clothes. The surroundings are very bleak, nothing really to visit aside from the local golf. course. When we left, we decided to fly out of Santo Domingo which is 30 minutes away. We liked it but won’t go back.
