Ophir retreat.
This beautiful home on the Oregon coast is the most awesome place we have ever stayed, on our many VRBO adventures.Everthing was perfect thanks to our wonderful accommodating host. The propery was amazing, secluded and relaxing with great ocean views. Looking foward to our next visit. I cant recommend this vacation home enough. Loved it.

We spent a week in this lovely home. Perfect place to get some r&r. Kitchen was very nice and large. Beds were comfortable it would be nice to have a king bed in the master room. My hubby is tall and so he slept upstairs. We very much enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Oregon getaway
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. There was plenty of room for all 4 of us to have our own personal space. The kitchen was well-equipped. The cookware might need some replacing soon as there is some wear and tear. Couldn’t get the fireplace to light even though we were provided with a video. There is not enough seating for a family of 4 to watch tv without moving furniture around. The sound system isn’t hooked up to the TV which could make that better. The outdoor spaces were beautiful and the view is incredible. Would definitely come back.

Great house, very comfortable and welcoming. The views are outstanding. Walk to the beach was a bit further than expected but not a deal breaker. The check out process was appreciated, not a list of chores to do before we could leave. Would definitely stay here again!

We were so comfortable in this beautiful home! Slept great, nice showers, plenty 9f space for the 6 of us. The only downside was that the cable box didn't work, so we couldn't watch the bowl game. It wasn't a big deal, and we had a great time!

Comfortable home with a great location.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Curry County house. We were very comfortable with a family of 6 (3 couples). We loved the kitchen and spent a lot of time cooking. We also loved the big windows and deck that nearly wrapped around the home. The walk to the beach was easy. The beach near the house is sloped and has soft sand which made walking difficult. But, because of the slope the waves were crazy. We also found a spot where pelicans, cormorants, loons, and sea lions would feed right by the beach. We are bird watchers so we loved that there were so many species of birds around the house (the merlin app identified 13 species by sound during a 3 minute scan). Because of nearby fires, we watched the smoke maps and then drove to areas that didn’t have as much smoke. This allowed us to explore new areas. We also had a power outage and were impressed that the property manager reached out to see if we needed anything. We would definitely return to this home if we decide to visit the Gold Beach area again. Thanks for having us!

Excellent choice in the Gold Beach area
I enjoyed the two nights that I spent here in August 2023. The house is spacious, attractively furnished, and well-maintained. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything I needed for meal preparation. The house is situated well above the highway so that there are views out over the ocean and for many miles up the coast to the north. I recommend a stay!

The listing pictures didn’t do this home justice! An absolutely beautiful home in a beautiful area! Secluded with no visible neighbors. Gorgeous view of the ocean. Loved drinking my morning coffee listening to the ocean! Kenny was great to work with, very quick to respond to any questions. And a great informative binder was in the house. It was definitely hard to leave!

The view was worth it all. We arrived after dark. The home was lovely and clean and almost everything we had hoped for. The next morning when we woke to see the ocean…nothing could have been better. The property manager was always quick to respond to an issue or question. The home was well stocked. We would love to come back again.

Feels off the grid, but close to everything.
Amazing experience! Sweeping views of the ocean and sights, off the grid feel with all the luxuries. Fire pit outside was a bonus. You used the kitchen everyday and spent much time in the sun room napping on the cushy couch. Will be back for sure!
