Everything was great except for the bathroom door. The barn door did not cover the door opening. Also, when we booked the room it said it slept 5. In order to sleep 5, we had to pay $30 for a rollaway bed. It would have been nice for it to be complimentary as the rollaway was very uncomfortable. The resort is beautiful and the restaurant was great.

Family Cabin- 2 Bedroom

Stayed in a 2-bedroom family cabin for 2 nights while visiting Yosemite. The cabin was awesome. Perfect size for my family of 3. The main resort was a short drive or shuttle ride away. I’m glad we didn’t stay at the main resort. Despite there being more amenities available (dining, gym, etc.), it was much busier and louder. The beds in the cabin were incredibly comfortable, tv in every room and the bathroom was large. The only con was the shower water pressure. Would definitely recommend to friends and family but be aware there is not much else in the area (dining, shopping).

We had 2 fire alarms go off. First ear piercing alarm was Friday December 27th morning and scared my kids to the point that they didn't want to stay at the hotel any longer. It was a false alarm. The second one was worse. Just after 10:00PM on Saturday, December 28th after the kids were put down to go to sleep the same ear piercing alarm went off and kept going off. We had to exit the building again, in the rain. After about 10 minutes in the rain, a staff member told us if was a false alarm, again. We checked out first thing the next morning.

We really enjoyed this place with the entire family and our Golden retriever. We were able to enjoy the restaurant and he was able to eat with us. It was definitely a very memorable experience and can’t wait to come back.

Was an ok average resort. Tha staff seemed to lack knowledge of the area and local Yosemite trails and activities. The property seemed to be focused more on families and kids rather than adult guests. Lots of small children including New Year’s Eve after midnight. Good resort for families not so much for adults without children.

Everything was great!

Rooms were large and felt new and clean. The bathroom door is on a roller, is loud, and doesnt lock so be mindful that there will be no privacy there. Had breakfast at the restaurant which was good but the server upcharged us for a drink that could have been applied to the buffet.. pizzeria on property was quick and delicious. We hiked on the property, enjoyed the pool and firepits, and ice skated which was fun and organized. Will recommend and will return again. Fyi first floor is dog friendly so when we would walk by we could hear alot of barking and scratching at doors of those left behind so if youre looking for quiet move up another floor..we were on the 4th and had wonderful views.
