Only on the day of arrival i recived a text message to say the restaurant will be closed for the duration of our stay. This meant we had no where to meet and dine with our other friends staying there. We had to taxi to a supermarket to get food and snacks for the room and then the cleaners did not clean our room as they said it was "too messy" and tried to charge us £20/day cleaning fees which we did not pay as our room was not at all left in a state! The hotel is basic. Some of the staff in reception did do their best to help us. I would suggest informing guests that the restaurant is closed before day of arrival.

Good location, great value.

Only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed and there is no option nearby. Had to drive ten mins (after a long journey) just to get snacks from a shop in Limoges. On the plus side, staff were excellent and breakfast good value (€9) and first class.

On arrival the receptionistwas very unfriendly. We eere asked if we wanted to pay 11 euros each for breakfast (a croissant and slice of cheese) and we said we would skip it. The receptionist was not happy with this! (Mcdonalds 2mins down the road btw). First room toilet wouldnt flush and then within 5 minutes of trying to flush something leaked all over the carpet in the room next to toilet. Moved to another room, this one had no air conditioning or a fridge. Dirty curtains. Even though this was just a one night stay while travelling i would avoid this place in the future.

Pretty standard no-frills faire, but absolutely fine for short stays in the Limousin region. Very accessible as by the A20, though not a noise nuisance at all. Bed also very comfortable and conducive to good night’s sleep.

We use this hotel repeatedly on our way through France as it is located close to junction 36 on the A20 so is easy to get in and out. Despite this location there is not a great deal of motorway noise in the rooms particularly those at the back. The staff are all welcoming and helpful with any problems. The rooms are always clean and tidy, the restaurant offers a range of food that is well cooked and presented - it's not haute cuisine but it's entirely what you would expect and better than some. We shall book again.

Excellent priced, modern, stylish hotel, worth st

This hotel was appealing from the moment we arrived.......modern but stylish decor, gardens etc! The staff were very helpful and eager to please. Comfortable, good sized room. The only drawback was we had a room on the 2nd floor, but no lift. The restaurant was very pleasant and the food good enough...breakfast was the usual continental. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. The price was excellent value.
