I just stayed at the Campbell House for the 5th time. Every time we drive from CA to WA and back we intentionally drive through Eugene just so we can stay at Campbell House. The house is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is AMAZING, and being greeted at reception with a glass of wine is such an elegant touch. They are also pet, including cats!, friendly. The icing on this cake is that their pricing is really reasonable.

We stay overnight regularly in Eugene to attend events at the Hult Center. This was our first time at the Campbell House and we will make it our regular overnight stop from now on. The grounds are beautiful, the staff friendly and attentive (I love well-trained staff!), and the breakfast really good! We did stay in a room in the carriage house that was on the lower level. It was fine for over night, but with only one window and a little dark. If we were staying for more than a quick overnight I would choose another room with a little more light and charm. Loved it for sure though!

Too small

While the atmosphere was nice and the hotel was clean the room we had was far too small. A full size bed barely fit in the room. Also, there are freight trains running all night nearby - bring your earplugs.

The location was excellent, the property was beautiful, staff were lovely, and all in all, it was very welcoming. I appreciate they allow pets but since I had a very small pet that required. Nothing at all I found the pet fee a little high. Perhaps it refundable pet deposit would be a better solution. Welcoming glass of wine and the lovely breakfast we’re really appreciated.
