Encantadora casa a solo 3 cuadras de la encantadora plaza del centro histórico de McKinney, a poca distancia de todas las tiendas, restaurantes, pubs, bodegas y lugares de entretenimiento. ¡Excelente lugar para un viaje de fin de semana o para viajes de trabajo cuando desea caminar para entretenerse!

¡También está a menos de 2 millas de Cotton Mill, Cotton Gin y cerca de otros lugares para bodas! McKinney se encuentra justo al norte de Allen, Plano, Richardson y Dallas y al este de Frisco, The Colony, etc.

Lovely cottage in a great location

Perfect Pre-Wedding Stay at Blue Bungalow!

My daughter and I spent the night before her wedding at Blue Bungalow, and it was the perfect choice. The location is ideally situated close to the wedding venue, making it an excellent spot to relax before the big day. The house itself was beautifully furnished, clean, and comfortable. We felt right at home. The quiet neighborhood added to the peaceful atmosphere, ensuring we had a restful evening before the excitement of the next day. I highly recommend Blue Bungalow for anyone looking for a serene and convenient place to stay.

Bungalow needs your attention!

The house does have some interior updates, butOwner needs to walk through and put some attention to cleaning and repair detail. Needs a new sofa , appliances, cabinets in kitchen and bath. Dirty kitchen light fixture with dead bugs, air vents black and dirty. Linens are 3 star. We left a day early. Could be a 5 star if you want to clean and update.

I will give this place five stars because the hosts were very commutative and gracious, also the place was adorable and in a great location. I will say however, the ad does not state that it’s an attached duplex home, (we found out after we booked) the adjoining neighbors are thumpy (kids I’m assuming) and they leave their porch light on all night long, which lights up the one room like broad daylight. I would suggest black out curtains, as I had to use a sleep mask to be able to get any rest.

Imagine washing your own towels during your stay

The location of the place is okay. It is a duplex so you are connected to a neighbor. The adjacent neighbor has a squeaky gate that they open and close often in the morning, so sleeping in wasn’t really an option. Not really anyone’s fault just annoying. Also the place looked clean and vacuumed, but they forgot to wash the towels, so we had to wash them in order to have enough wash cloths.

Perfect McKinney Cottage

Adequate stay

The house itself was more than adequate for our purposes. The location was awesome. There was one big surprise. That was the attached back apartment. The three small children were precious and the mom was very nice. It’s just that this was not mentioned. We will certainly consider staying there again.

Nice location

Overall I have to take into consideration several things. It is not a food, prepare friendly property. Kitchen had dirt in the drawers, where the utensils and cookware is located. The oven was very dirty and had burnt food i on the inside of the door as well as inside the entire oven. Sheets were not provided for the pullout bed and we did not have extra blankets. If we hadn’t brought our own pillow and blanket, my son would have not had any bedding. I gave a detailed explanation of my concerns, but I did not hear back from the host. I took photos of the inside of the oven and my kitchen concerns. I did take photos as well.

Comfortable Stay

perfect place for an overnight stay. Shannon was a great communicator and ensured we had everything we needed. A few things to note before arriving. 1. Bring water as there is no filtered water in fridge 2. Walking distance to center is about 20 minutes. Keep that in mind as we thought it would be quicker walk based on reviews. 3. Sofa bed is actually really comfortable but if you are on the bigger side, it may not be the best bed for you. My husband is 6’3 and he didn’t find it as comfortable as I did. 4. Bedroom beds are very comfortable. 3. Shannon is super helpful. Anything you need, just reach out as she was quick to answer. Thanks for sharing your home with us Shannon. I’d definitely recommend your place and would stay here again.

Great location

Perfect place for a couple of friends or a couple to get away for a few days. Location could not have been better. Loved the cute front porch with a couple of chairs perfect for morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

Adorable home

Adorable little home close to everything! It was just as beautiful as the pics show. My college daughter, sister and I stayed for a weekend get away. It was close enough to downtown McKinney that we could walk. We would definitely stay here again!
