Disappointing room, but good service.
We were a bit disappointed with the room. When we first walked in the room, we found a dead cockroach on top of the cushioned chair. It was dry and appeared to have been there a while. We found a used contact on the floor of the bathroom. The shower floor was grimy from soap scum and who knows what else. So the cleanliness was lacking, but those were the worst things. We did not see any living cockroaches or any bugs for that matter in the 2 ish days we were there.
The shower pressure was very weak rendering it useless for helping us feel clean.
The employees were friendly and we enjoyed hanging out with friends in the lobby area. The desk chair in our room was broken when we arrived, and the front desk lady got it taken care of very quickly. We also appreciated having a room available that had bunkbeds since we were traveling with two kids (a boy and a girl).
It wasn't awful, but it lacked in some key areas that will make us think twice about staying here on our next trip to College Station.
