We came to Cleveland for the first time and were impressed with Lakewood. We visited great little quirky independent shops, parks, had delicious food, and loved the whole vibe of the neighborhood. Only stayed 2 nights, but we crammed in as much as we could.
- There is street parking and we were able to find a spot across the street every time we needed to.
- The apartment is above a bar, but we were there on Sunday and Monday night and were not bothered at all. It didn't seem loud or rowdy in any way. Obviously, I can't comment on the bar or parking on weekends.
- The suite was adorable and comfortable for two people. It may have been different if we had wanted to stay in and lounge around watching movies or something, but as it was we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a nightcap after exploring all day.
- Everything was clean and worked fine. We didn't try cooking, though, as there were so many restaurants to sample from. It is an older building, so if you can't handle things not being just-so and perfect, you may want to pass and look for new construction properties.
- Window AC and fans kept things comfortable enough, but it was still unquestionably summer. The larger bedroom has a separate window AC and it worked great for staying cool to sleep.
- Check-in and out instructions were clear and easy to follow.
Cute and cozy - would definitely stay here again!
