The bed frames are absolutely unsafe, the corners of them are square and positioned out sides of the bed! I was struck several times on my shins my wife was struck many times and bruised on both her legs. This is totally unacceptable they should be replaced with new one's or repaired.

Carriage House Hotel, Calgary - Review I stayed at the Carriage House Hotel in Calgary on December 25, 2024, but had to cut my stay short due to a family emergency. The hotel, although very old, was renovated two years ago. Check-in was smooth and fast, and the room was of good size with a comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast in the morning was satisfying, offering all the expected items. However, the age of the hotel shows in some areas, particularly the sofas in the rooms, which looked quite worn. Additionally, I suggest installing bars near the bathtub to ensure safety while getting in and out. Our room also had loud elevator noises, which might not be something the hotel can easily address. $5 a night charge for microwave seems unnecessary and annoying Overall, the stay was fine, but the issues mentioned make it a solid 3-star experience.
