Last minute Thanksgiving getaway.
Marcus was very accommodating and allowed us to check in a bit early so we could make our Thanksgiving meal. “Thankfully.” We were able to check out the beach before the 3-1/2 feet of snow fell in 24 hours… certainly the beach would be lovely when better weather conditions prevail. Our dogs enjoyed the large lot as well as the beach. Marcus made sure we were able to get our cars out of the ice/snow and was very responsive. “Snowmageddon” truly made for a very memorable Thanksgiving. Thank you.

Great place and hosts.
The house was nice, lots of space. To get to the lake, you need to take a lot of apes, but they’re easier than most and well worth getting to the lower deck to sit in the chais and take in the views!

Wonderful Time
We had a wonderful family time. The house was perfect for our 3 couples. Loved the paintings on the walls (someone is very talented). Kitchen well stocked with what we needed to cook. Loved the stairs to the water, I thought by the pictures it was gonna be half stairs, half a path down the hill. This old lady made it up and down several times a day !! All in all - a very pleasant stay at your home !!

Lake Fun
This house, property and location were perfect for our family of 10 vacation. Weather was great so we spent a lot of time in the lake kayaking (2 at the house) and swimming. (Be sure to bring water shoes, very rocky lake floor). One of our family members enjoyed searching for and finding a lot of beach glass. A lot of stairs down the hill to the lake but so worth the many trips up and down. There is a resting bench part way down and also along the way is a very nice deck overlooking the lake with rocking chairs waiting for you to sit on while enjoying your favorite book. Thank you to our host who was so gracious, helpful and quick to respond to inquiries. We left with with the memory of a wonderful family vacation.

Ashtabula Lake House
The house was conveniently located between Ashtabula and Geneva on the Lake. The view was beautiful. The instructions provided for the property and new outdoor fire pit were very helpful. The new stairwell down to the lake provided access to some stunning sunsets.

Great house for a large family group
We spent 4 days of spring break in this great house. Plenty of room for our group of 7 adults and 4 kids. We even took our dogs which made the trip even better. Spent most of the time around the house, playing games, walking the trails and fishing. We had a campfire at night. Large yard for the kids to play football and frisbee. The lake was just over the hill for fishing. Will definitely come back!

The rooms were good. The beds were comfortable. It was reasonably clean. Nice view of the lake and great stairway to the beach. Everyone had a good time. The only complaint is that we were definitely overcharged for the off- season stay.

Lots of small perks & great location
The inside of the house is clean. The furniture is comfy. Loved the small perks like K-cups, cocoa, tea, marshmallows, spices, & toiletries! The neighborhood appears safe and we had no issues. Big table for group meals & lots of dinnerware for a larger group. Host provided a nice book with detailed information about the home and area. Beach access is nice, even at the end of December. Extra blankets in the winter would have been a nice touch. Outside of property needs a fall cleanup. Otherwise great stay and host communicates well & promptly. Would stay again.

Best hospitality
The house is very nice as described. We rented many houses before, but never had a rental that has everything you need. All toiletries in the bathrooms, toothbrushes, toothpaste, q tips, dental floss, bandages, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. Kitchen had all spices, coffee, tea for keurig, coffee for regular coffee maker. We were pleasantly surprised by all extras owner provided. They even left us toy for our dog. Too much to list. Any questions we had owner answered very quickly. Only suggestion, needs new frying pan. We'll be staying there again 😀

Roomy home and great outdoor area
Beautiful, roomy house with plenty of room for our large group of 17. House had everything we needed and had a great outdoor area. Beach was amazing and the reason we rented the house but we ended up utilizing the backyard and deck more than anything. Beach is rocky so water shoes were a necessity but once in the water a bit it's sandy and lovely and very private. Great communication with host and all questions answered promptly. I don't think you'll regret booking this place. My family has already mentioned booking it again next year. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!

Beautiful lake views!
We had a wonderful time at the lake house. Marcus was very responsive to all questions. The lake view and lake access were perfect. We all enjoyed the kayaks, swimming, looking at rocks at the beach, and a bonfire with lake views. The house could use some TLC and a deep clean. It is well laid out with a bonus game room. The location is convenient too. Overall, the whole group, young and old, enjoyed our stay!

Amazing house in a great location!
My family and friends could not have asked for more. The house is a great set up to host several families and the location is beautiful. The host is super responsive and so thoughtful. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a getaway on the lake!

Dreamy Private Beach House Getaway
My recent stay at this private beach house was an absolute treat! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality by the host and breathtaking views. Located right at the Lake Erie, with just few steps, you can bask in incredible private beach experience, with no one but just you and your family. This was the highlight of our whole trip. The house itself was well maintained and thoughtfully designed. The interior was tastefully decorated, combining modern amenities. The living spaces were spacious and inviting, the pool table was a hit among the kids as they enjoyed playing a lot. Beach: The highlight of this rental was undoubtedly the outdoor area. The private access to the beach was a true luxury. The beach was both sandy with lots of cool stones to add to your collection. Host: They were highly responsive and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was seamless and enjoyable. Few Quirks: 1) The way down to the beach is mostly wooden steps, but there were few spots without any steps, which made it difficult to get to the beach. It can be a safety hazard too, especially after the rain, on one of the days, it made it a quite slippery. We had a family from age 7 to 70 and all made it fine, but this is definitely a must fix for the host. 2) While it is listed as 14 people VRBO home, it is definitely NOT for 14 people (including children). The host counted 2 people who would sleep on the couch. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Overall, great property. Grass could have been cut; The deck could have been swept; Steps to lake broken and very dangerous to navigate. Main reason we chose property was lake access: Outdoor shower pipes split and leaking and not usable. Inside, there were only 2 wash clothes for 14 ppl, 2 hand towels for 3 bathrooms; There weren't enough bath towels for 14 ppl; Eventually after searching the home, I found damp bath towels mixed with sheets in the basement on a table across from the washing machine, so I placed in the dryer to finish drying; 2 wastebaskets for 3 bathrooms, and both were full of garbage; under both couch cushion in the living room were pistachio shells, a small dog bone, a half eaten sucker, straws, dog food, plastic wrap, and lots of crumbs. I'm not trying to be critical but wanted you to be aware as a new owner. Full disclosure, half of one of the kayak paddles was lost in the lake.

Great New Years getaway
We (2 families) had a great time at this house. Property managers were very responsive and the place had everything we needed. The beach was a short walk and it was very cool to see the ice buildup on Lake Erie. This is a great spot for a quiet getaway with friends and family.

Ashtabula vacation 2022
Great place for family vacation. Very private and relaxing. Beautiful sunset on a lake. Plenty of front and backyard space for family games. The house was very comfortable for 12 people. We wished to have a bigger kitchen to prep the food. Other than that, one of the best vacation. We would love to go back there.
