Great hotel, rip off parking

Lovely hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and the hotel is modern and spotlessly clean. The parking charge however is extortionate. £15 a day when there are no events on at the arena is ridiculous. I wouldn’t stay here again for that reason only.

Good hotel, slow service.

Lovely hotel, very comfortable and clean. The food was good but the service in the restaurant is very slow. We waited to be seated for 10 minutes and it took 30 minutes for us to get a drink before the food order was taken. Staff did not check on us after our food arrived or offer further drinks. It was disappointing for such a nice hotel.

The place was good. Parking was pain and confusing. We did not get the parking at first so ended up paying double for the night. I was not clear about the reception staff trying to explain me the complicated parking system.

The hotel was really nice, but a bit soulless. The staff were nice enough, but didn’t go out of their way to be over friendly or welcoming. The food in the restaurant was nice but a bit over priced and not a huge choice. It was also a bit on the cool side. Breakfast was very good. The tv wouldn’t connect to any apps. The car park was the underground car park, next to the TECA. Which wasn’t that far, but on a wet winters night, was a bit miserable.

I stayed here in order that I could attend an event at the TECA, was disappointed that guests could not use the internal walk through and we were made to walk outside in the freezing cold to gain access to the event. What is the point in having an adjoining hotel walkway, if it cannot be used?
