My wife and I spent one night at Super 8 by Wyndham Portage on our way home. We really enjoyed our stay because our room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Great Choice in the Area

I was in the area for a Ice Age Trail building event and decided to stay as close to the build as possible and choose the Super 8. The room was very clean, plenty of items to make the stay comfortable. I am fairly particular about mattresses and the king bed was very comfortable and I had now problems sleeping. The shower was hot each night which was key after working in the cold all day! The breakfast in the morning was adequate - one day the juice machine wasn't working, but it was fixed the next day.

My TV did not work I called the front desk. The manager said, and I quote, "We'll fix it tomorrow!" I said, " So then I have no TV?". He hung up. I went to front desk, he was gone.

I believe that the property needs some upgrades for the most part. My stay is always a peaceful. It’s never loud everything that I need is always in my room and I am able to use it for exactly what I Intended to sleep somewhere.

Hotel was dirty, sketchy, and poor customer service. Overcharged card on file by accident and hotel Attendant ignored customers. Stayed at other hotels in area and had great service l. Will not be back to this place.
