Conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the Virginia Square metro (with easy access to all that Washington DC has to offer!), Clarendon, and Ballston shops, as well as vibrant nightlife, this enchanting abode offers the best of both worlds: a serene sanctuary and city excitement, all in one. An amazing kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, patio, and deck in a shady backyard, plenty of on-street parking and free Wifi complete the package for a perfect urban retreat.

This little house is perfection and is a top notch example of why I choose owner rentals over hotels. There are so many small touches... coffee, snacks, and every toiletry imaginable. The home is spotless, location is excellent and the neighborhood is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Convenient Cottage in Charming Neighborhood
The folks who own this little hideaway are good communicators, and provided us an impeccably clean cottage that is organized, intuitive to use/live in, and convenient to every amenity in Arlington with a 10-minute walk through an idyllic Rockwellian Arts & Crafts neighborhood. Hard to beat! Will be back!

This backyard cottage was fantastic for our DC trip. The house was neat and clean with everything we needed for our stay. The neighbor was also great. A short walk to the metro made all of DC available to us.

Honestly one of the nicest VRBOs weve ever stayed in. Great cottage in a very nice residential neighborhood a short walk from the metro. Lots of nice touches inside. The owner was very responsive when we had a question about the door lock. Would definitely stay again.

Geneva and Peter’s backyard cottage was wonderful. It was exactly like the listing and extremely clean. Parking is a breeze (and free!). They truly thought of all the little extras you may need - toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, makeup wipes, feminine hygiene products, etc. and a few little snacks and chocolates! The bed was very comfy, the only thing to note is that the bedroom does not get very dark if you are a sensitive sleeper.

The property is beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming -- very clean & tranquil as well. The location was just about ideal for our needs. Wonderful stay!
This place is a beautiful property tucked away so you feel like you have privacy and a quiet atmosphere to relax. The location is within walking distance of great restaurants and perfect for wanting to explore DC due to its proximity to the sites. We had a fantastic stay at Geneva and Peter's property! The owners were lovely and very easy to deal with, always providing quick responses. The property itself was exceptional, even better than the pictures. With high ceilings and plenty of light, it felt spacious and inviting.
