I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was clean and quiet and the location is great. I have taken about 20 international trips in recent years and it's always a struggle to find the hotel once I arrive keeping in mind that it's not easy to ask people on the street for help since many do not speak English. But I have to say that the Hotel Metropol was the easiest hotel ever to find! The hotel isn't lying when they say on their site that it's "directly across from the Centrum Metro station". I found it in seconds and was glad to see how easy it was. The breakfast was good as well.
There is an area I'd like to see an improvement in: the pillows were not comfortable at all. There was so support in the slightest...it was like putting your head on a cotton ball so your head is basically lying on the bed...really the pillow served zero purpose. Some hotel chain should make a marketing gimmick where they say, "Our beds have a wide variety of pillow types so you get to choose which one you prefer!" It's a million dollar idea, isn't it? But unfortunately both of the Metropol pillows where the cotton ball types so I had no choice but to use this awful option which meant my head had no support and thus I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked.
But again, I did enjoy my stay here and would stay here again when next in Warsaw.
