This former full service Holiday Inn is now a no frills Days Inn. There are really no amenities to speak of. However, they appear to be undergoing renovations to hopefully restore this hotel to its former glory. The difference maker for me is that it is kept clean and the bed is comfortable, which makes all the difference in my book. It’s a comfortable place to sleep and a good value for the money.

I booked this property because it had free breakfast and an indoor pool; however, when I checked in, I saw the sign that the pool was closed. I found out the next morning, that there was no breakfast “at this time,” but the person at the front desk did offer me coffee. My room was close to a rear door and there were people frequently outside smoking or talking on cell phones - I had to keep the curtains shut because they were right outside my window.

The website lists free breakfast and an indoor pool under amenities but both are shut down. There is zero security as all of the external doors are not locked. I was happy to leave.

The elevator was filthy. There was no phone in the room. The tv didn’t work and maintenance never came. Checking in and out was like I wasn’t even a person. The nicest people in the hotel were a group of kids who were there for a birthday party. They were nicer than any staff.

no king beds, outlets didn't work in bathroom, no food as you advertised, only coffee, food area closed for health reason by warren health dept, (said the posted sign) only one elevator went up and down, no button lights in elevator, only one trash can and that was in the bathroom. One ply thin toilet paper, TV was worthless, we wanted to see the weather channel because of hurricane Helene in NC where we are from and know people in Asheville and surrounding areas, but clicking on the TV weather, it was just football stuff! And the rate was $80.00 per night and 2 nights of the 3 were $109.00, when we complained to hotel staff, they said that some of this stuff was your fault, for beds, foof rates etc.

Bar/lounge closed by order of PA Dept of Health. Breakfast was going to be a bag breakfast of a microwave breakfast sandwich. 3rd floor being remodled and had mold. Water damage visible in the stairwell. Bug in our room. Not enough towels in our room for all of us. Pool was cloudy. Didn't feel like a safe environment for our small grandchildren. Checked out a day early, couldn't get. a refund because it was booked by third party. Was still charged for late checkout even though we weren't there to checkout that day.

I was understand the Impression there was a restaurant bar and a breakfast buffet however the breakfast was a brown bag with water, juice & a thawed breakfast sandwich, I’m pretty positive the health department shut them down and we were never informed that we did not have those amenities.

The staff was very friendly but this hotel is very outdated and run down. The pool was ok but theres safety issues because of a huge chunk of the pool floor missing. The room was clean but the doors stick and are hard to open. My children and i got stuck in the bathroom. The knob for the show/tub took all my mite to pull to turn the water on. The restaurant is cloed and no dining options. The breakfast is microwaved breakfast sandwiches that sit on the check in counter, who knows for how long. I wouldn't recommend this place.

was given a room with no phone or clock. When I went to iron my blouse in the morning, there was no ironing board. It took staff 2 hours to find batteries for my remote for the TV. To get ice, you had to go to the main desk for the clerk to get it from the closed restaurant/bar. One of the beds in the room had a broken leg. Few people were staying there and was given a room off of the pool, where a party of kids screamed until 8pm. Not a good experience.

Staff did what they could with the falling apart building they have to deal with. Housekeeping was good considering the fact the building is in bad shape internally and I don’t think there was anything more they could do about it. Check in staff was friendly and welcoming. The building is falling apart and I wouldn’t come back or recommend to this place anyone because it’s clear there are health hazards like mold from improper ventilation, and also plaster/drywall falling apart. Tub wouldn’t stop up for my kids to bathe either. Did not end up using the pool because after seeing the bathrooms and having the tub issues, we were just done and didn't want to spend any time there. I used to work in hospitality and I know none of this could’ve been addressed by the time I left anyway because a lot of is was structural, so there was no use involving staff because I'm sure it wasn't something that couldn't be fixed in my time there Again staff was nice and did their best but this building is so terrible I could keep going on. Really wish I had taken pictures to show how bad honestly. We have family in the area that we will be visiting frequently and we will not be using you all again and will tell others to stay away
