Fairly priced. A good choice for a one-day stay during a road trip. Very friendly staff, offered many complimentary personal items (razor, etc.). Small things that kept it from exceeding expectations: very noticeable animal smell with pooled liquid stains on the carpet (smell did go away quickly after opening window), stains on comforter/blanket, a stray hair found on comforter/blanket

Good value but needs some TLC

Dated but clean and neat. Well lit entry and quiet location. Property does need a update as it is showing its age but it is clean and good air and bed was good.

Have been staying at Greystone once a year for about 14 years. I think the Inn has been remodeled at least once since then. However, it has again become heavily worn and a bit run-down. The 'breakfast' used to be good and varied. Now it is a poor excuse for a breakfast. Will find another place to stay next yer.

Love staying at Greystone Inn and Suites. Every employee is always so friendly, welcoming, helpful and make you feel like you’re part of their family. The ladies in housekeeping do an excellent job of cleaning the hotel itself and keeping the guests rooms smelling and looking great and keeping them stocked. I can tell by that that these ladies take pride in the hotel. The ladies at the front desk are always so welcoming and actually smile while they are checking you in. I’ve stayed there so many times now that they know me by name and that means a great deal to me. Seems to me that Mr. Lumpkin hired a great group of ladies to clean and run the front desk and the hotel. Keep up the great job ladies. You all are doing an awesome job! Thank you, Kerri Leach

We’ll Definitely Be Coming Back Here Again!!

Me and my fiancé have stayed in different hotels between Birmingham Pelham and here. I have to say that Greystone Inn and Suites are by far our favorite hotel. Not only is it peaceful and quiet here and most importantly it’s safe but every time we walk in the door you immediately can see and smell the cleanliness from where the housekeepers do such a great job of keeping it clean. Thank you ladies for taking pride in your place of employment and keeping it looking and smelling clean. The young ladies at the checking checkout desk are always so welcoming when you walk in the door and you’re greeted with a smile and a how may I help you. In fact every employee at the hotel are always so nice friendly helpful and make you feel like you’re part of the family. Everyone there is always always ready to help you if you need anything. We’ve stayed so many times now that the front desk ladies know me by name and that gets an A+ in my book and makes me feel even more welcomed. I honestly don’t have one issue with the employees of the hotel and I definitely don’t have any issues or complaints about the hotel itself. But if I have to pick what I like most about the hotel it’s the 12:00 checkout I like the most. I’ve never stayed at another hotel with a 12:00 checkout. Mr. Lumpkin you’ve got a awesome group of employees at the hotel that you can see in their faces that they enjoy working there and they are always happy to see each guest that comes to stay. Keep up the great work you guys.
