Enjoy the perfect family beach vacation at Keys in the Conch Shell in Holden Beach, North Carolina. Holden Beach was named Best Family Beach in America because of its beautiful, sandy beaches. You have the luxury of private beaches with the convenience of an easy drive to all of the fun attractions at Myrtle Beach or Wilmington.

Keys in the Conch Shell is a wonderful 5 bedroom & 4 bathroom oceanfront home with a private boardwalk directly to the ocean! Enjoy the glorious sunrise and your morning coffee from the 2nd floor Master Suite with private oceanfront owner’s retreat/sitting area and private balcony with custom high adirondack chairs overlooking the beautiful coast. Three of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and 2 share a Jack & Jill bathroom. 4 of the bedrooms have balcony access and 2 have oceanfront balconies.

Delight in the beautiful panoramic views of the ocean from the main living area; fully equipped with indoor dining areas for 13. Granite countertops & new stainless steel appliances make the fully stocked kitchen a cook’s delight.

Do you have kids that don’t want to hang out with mom & dad? Our kids’ retreat sleeps 6 and includes 2 sets of bunk beds (full on bottom/twin on top) with kids’ gathering area with 48 in. smart TV and gaming chairs. They can play Xbox, board games or just hang out having fun.(Xbox not included in rental, but feel free to bring your own)

Watch the sunset from the large oceanfront deck that boast 6 custom tall adirondack chairs and 8 ft custom picnic table for dinners overlooking the ocean. Private heated pool with 8 luxury chaise lounges, entertaining area and grill will make your afternoons a delight. Brand new jacuzzi hot tub on back patio near private outdoor shower. Full size washer and dryer on main floor & enclosed 2 car garage. Walking distance to restaurants, ice cream and coffee shop and Holden Beach Pavilion for Sunday night concerts.

***Pool can be heated upon advance notice for a $250 fee. Pools are heated to a maximum of 87-88 degrees but can only maintain a temperature of 8-10 degrees above the outside temperature. Pool heaters cannot operate if the temperature outside is below 55 degrees.

Home has 2 King beds, 2 Queen beds, 2 Full beds and 2 Twin beds. Sleeps 14 comfortably with room for cots & sleeping bags for extra sleeping space. Perfect for multi-family or multi generational vacations. Fresh linens are included with every stay & will be on the beds when you arrive. No need to spend the first hour of your stay making beds!

Mesh WIFI network with fiber internet provides amazing Wi-Fi coverage throughout the home. Master Bedroom has a desk and monitor perfect for remote working or learning.

Keyless entry lock system so there's no need to carry around keys.

***Concierge tent service included with a 7 night rental. We will have a tent delivered and set up on the beach for you each morning and taken down for you each afternoon. Tent service is provided Sunday through Friday of your Sat-Sat stay. (If you are staying fewer than 7 nights, tent can be rented)

for the price, seems to "needs some TLC"
The house had a great location and all the amenities we hoped for! It was just the right space and set up for our group. While it was "clean" as in the housekeeping was doing a great job, there was just general maintenance things that were rough around the edges. I'm sure to some extent that had to do with us coming at the end of the summer travel season. Interior and especially exterior needed some paint and rust proofing. (To the extent that kids had to be warned about avoiding contact with the rust.) The mattresses weren't great and pillows were flat. The shower curtains had those questionable dark spots at the bottoms and shower was showing it's wear and tear. We couldn't get the garage doors to open (but we also didn't ask for help so that's on us) and we couldn't locate any light inside the garage, so it was just dark and wet in there. Things like that. In all, we had a very nice stay and enjoyed it, but it put a damper on the initial excitement and there was definitely some discussion about it feeling like for the price we weren't expecting to feel like things "needed TLC".

Jenny was amazing with communication. The house was exactly like in the pictures. The location is fabulous. You walk right out to the beach on private walkway. The pool was very clean as was the house. The house had everything you could wish for. Made for great family memories!

Lovely house
House was very nice and clean. Kitchen equipped well for cooking. Fully stocked keurig was certainly appreciated. Refrigerator could be a little bigger. Loved the complimentary beach tent service and the chairs and toys available at the house. Outdoor area and the pool are wonderful. Grandkids had so much fun in the pool and hot tub.

Great stay at the beach
The house was very nice and had everything we needed. The location and beach were great. What made this house outstanding was the pool. The hot tub was sandy and cloudy when we got there. The came back and cleaned it but the water never did look inviting. Overall, the whole family thought it was a great time.

Perfect House and location!
We highly recommend staying at this property for a relaxing and convenient beach vacation! It is clean, well maintained, stocked with everything we needed for comfortable beach days (nice chairs to take to the ocean). It is steps away from the ocean, the pool was beautiful and had 8 full length reclining sunning chairs, the house was perfect for our family of 7 (husband and myself, 2 college age children, and our daughter and so. In law and 6mo old grandchild). We especially enjoyed having a tent service each day; the gentleman who set it up daily was consistent and had it set-up before 8 each morning! Also, the hostess was easy and lovely to communicate with!

The host is extremely responsive, friendly and hospitable. The house was clean and in a fantastic location being right on the beach with a private walk out. We couldn’t have stayed in a better home. We will definitely be staying again!!

This house was great and fully equipped with everything needed. The only thing disappointing was the temperature of the pool. We paid the extra $250 for it to be heated and it was not swimmable the entire time. I would recommend removing this option during certain months so that people aren’t wasting money.

The house was very nice, loved the pool size, the location of the house, proximity to the beach and the tent concierge service was a plus. A suggestion would be to have a lot more silverware for a house that accommodates 10 of us. Fully equipped kitchen was advertised and that was lacking. The lighting in the kitchen was on and off and my son in law changed the filter for the a/c, it was really dirty. Some knobs should be checked for maintenance on bedroom furniture. It would be helpful to advertise the master suite requiring to go up a flight of stairs, most are on the main level. The coffee supplied for the Keurig was a nice feature and Jennifer was great to work with. I would suggest spending the $106 per year for recycling, we brought much of ours home.

Wonderful birthday week for the family!

Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Keys in the Conch Shell. The view is stunning, the beach is not nearly as busy as some other places, and the pool and hot tub are an added luxury. Jenny was quick to respond to any questions or concerns and even provided some rainy day ideas for the one morning it was raining. The kids loved the the bunk beds and all of the beds were quite comfortable with especially nice pillows and linens. Our stay was relaxing and we were sad when it was time to leave.
