Liked that it was on the ocean. We didn't stay our last day at the property and were told they would approve a refund to Orbitz. When Orbitz tried to contact them about refund they did not respond.
The room floor was dirty other guests at the hotel stayed in the pool until after midnight making a lot of noise. Our room was right next to the pool. Also had a dog in the next room that parked quite a bit.
Loved closeness to beach
This is my go to place to stay in the Tampa area. Small, quiet environment. The perfect way to remember how the beach used to be before all the high rise hotels went in. Love staying here!

Decent place and friendly staff, but rooms need some work.
Loved the beautiful landscaping, the architecture of the pool, hot tub, and the patio area. The walkways were pretty and the path out to the ocean was amazing. Our room was nice and the deck area upstairs had a nice view as well! The doors had two locks which is good for us girls! The area was very nice and close to many places to eat.
Property is tight on the beach, small family owned. The whole property is dated. Furnishings look worn and metal pieces had “oxidation/ rust corrosion” that made the rooms feel dirty. We also killed multiple small cockroaches each time we opened the refrigerator. Fairly sure they are aware as the made sure to use a potent amount of peppermint oil in the room upon arrival. For a combined room with 5 adults we were only given 3 large bathroom towels and 4 pool towels. Staff was friendly and helpful. Walls/ windows were thin and there was constant noise from outside at night. Could use different window shutters/ blinds as the neon signs from the front lit up our rooms all night.

Don’t stay here, very unsafe, not clean. Broken blinds, bugs and etc. Pool was dirty looking, 5 people on the beach.

We appreciate your comments. Your reservation was from 1/10 to 1/12. Since you paid Orbitz directly we refunded Orbits' Credit card so that they could refund you.This is the process when you pay them directly. They were refunded on the 11th. They need to refund your credit card. Chuck
