A nice quiet and relaxing place. They have a dock on the lake I walked to and worked out on every morning. And at night I sat on the dock under the stars. It’s also off the main highway so the road to the inn is a quiet road and you’re not suddenly pulling into traffic. Overall great place!

This is great place to stay for the night for the price. The property was clean, it’s an inn that’s been updated. Rooms have a kind of Key West look to it inside. You walk around the back side beautiful Lake view, has a cafe that was closed. However it has ann outside porch area facing the Lake. Again this is an older Inn that’s been updated. Not a resort, but nice hidden treasure has a romantic feel to it with Lake Sunset view amazing. Only two minor things. First: Gas station and convenient stores miles away. So make sure you pick up snacks etc. Second: Even though I got checked in fast when I got there which was great. The lobby and cafe was closed after I checked in at 5pm and was closed again at check out, no complementary coffee. Lol… Other than those two things. I have no problem staying there again. Definitely recommend if you’re passing through. Township people were polite and helpful.

There was no cable signal available so we could not watch TV during our stay which was quite disappointing when we wanted to relax for the evening after a long day of driving.

This is a very old property of 10 rooms. It has been well taken care of. But its best feature is that it really is along a lake. There is a sitting area by the water and about a 50 foot long dock, all for your use to enjoy do beautiful sunsets.

Simple Comfort

Understanding that this is not The Ritz, Lakeside Inn gets a lot right. The room is small but clean and comfortable. Refrigerator worked fine, as did the AC. TV offered a wide range of channels. WIFI signal was strong and consistent. Bed was comfortable, though could have used a few pillow options. A small thing but I liked the power strip on the side of the headboard, so you could plug in your laptop or whatever. OK, usually there's an outlet on the base of the bedside lamp but as I said, this ain't the Ritz....but they came up with a simple, workable solution. Grounds are very nice. Lake is lovely and I enjoyed strolling out to the end of the long dock. This is a nice, quiet spot.
