Drop your keys on Boddington the Butler's tray (!), and head to the deck to unwind while you enjoy the view of pretty South Harbor Village Marina ( managed by Safe Harbor, and offers transient slip options).
The beaches of Oak Island are just a short drive over the ICW. (3.2 miles to Oak Island Pier). If you are a thrill seeker, you might be tempted to try a skydive experience, which is available 5 minutes away. Rental options for boats, bikes and kayaks are nearby. Explore the parks and nature trails, or take a 15 minute drive into Southport to amble through the many Boutiques & Antique Shops, Bistros, Bakeries, Craft Beer and Wine Bars. Visit the Maritime Museum, then lounge in a swing chair on the lawn while watching the Cape Fear River boat traffic. Take a sunset cruise...highly recommended, and maybe a Ghost Tour in Southport! The condo is conveniently located, and there is free parking.
There are many places to eat, but it's perfect that one of the highly rated restaurants is Joseph's Italian Bistro, right next door, and Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill is a minute's walk, with amazing sunset views from their Porch seating.

Well appointed house!
The house was very comfortable and had a lot of fun coastal accents. I gave it 4 stars for location because the next porch to mine was the outdoor seating for an Italian restaurant. Fortunately, it closed at 9:00 pm, so noise wasn’t really an issue. Gemma was a wonderful host and provided all the necessary informations for a hassle- free stay!stay.issue

Long weekend sisters trip
This lovely condo is so tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, and well appointed. It’s obvious that the hostess, Gemma, enjoys making sure her guests have a comfortable and unique experience, down to the smallest details. Gemma’s place was perfect for a weekend beach getaway! Super close to downtown Southport and Oak Island - a great location to stay for anyone who wants some variety. Plus the view of the marina from the deck was so pretty; we enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. We also ate at Joseph’s and Rusty Hooks - great food at both! The property was exceptionally clean and Gemma thought of everything, from a sweet welcome basket to extra bath towels to beach towels. It was also very well stocked. We would definitely stay there again!

Southport, lovely location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The marina location was charming and interesting. We loved watching the boats come and go. Gemma was the perfect hostess, communicative and helpful. The condo was very clean, comfortable, and well supplied. We loved Joseph's Italian Bistro next door and would highly recommend to all future guests. We would definitely choose this location again!

This was a perfect place for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view. The condo was so clean and well-stocked with everything that you could need or want. Nice Getaway
I have brain cancer. We visited the Duke Cancer Center Friday morning and drove out Friday afternoon for a couple of days getaway. It was so peaceful and nice. It was a great way to escape the cancer for a couple of days. Everything was as described and Gemma was easy to get in touch with if we had any issues. Everything was perfect. This property overlooks a peaceful harbor which can be vierwed from a covered porch furnished with comfortable chairs and a dining set. The apartment was spotless and the owner made sure that everything a renter could need was available. The linens, towels, toiletries and bedding were all top notch. The kitchen was well equipped.The location is excellent, close to the beach and Southport. The restaurants nearby are serve delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Gemma!

Relaxing View
A great weekend getaway with such a relaxing view from the patio and a great space inside too. We walked to dinner two nights and both restaurants were very good. Rusty Hook sitting at the tiki bar with a sunset view was my favorite. Such a close drive to Caswell and Oak Island beaches. We enjoyed exploring Southport. The host was wonderful! We have another stay booked in a few weeks. Next time we hope to take the ferry over to Bald Head island for a little day trip.

My Dream Condo
This condo is wonderful. I went for a business/relocation trip and wanted somewhere that felt like a home. Gemma has thought of everything someone would need to be comfortable.. including a tea kettle, which I told her was a nice surprise. The location is a dream, right on the marina. The beach decor was just right and everything was clean and tidy. Wish I could live there forever.

Crisp marsh views
This location was great for a quick trip to meet up with local friends. The rental was very clean and had everything we needed. The views of the marina were nice and peaceful in the morning and late evening when we had down time. Coffee provided with the keurig made our porch time. A short walk to Rusty Hook for quick quality seafood and drinks. We didn’t try Joseph’s next door but the smells made us wish we had! Will be keeping this as a favorite for stays in the future. Will mention there is minimal storage if planning on longer stays, but a non issue for us.

I have been back twice in 3 months! Love this place- so well decorated, quaint, quiet and close to everything in New Bern, Beaufort, MC, Altantic Beach, EI and Swansboro. This is one of my favorite areas at the coast in NC so this is a total gem of a find. Getting up early for coffee on the deck or having one before bed is perfect here. No hussle and bussle of the beaches-just quiet so you can hear yourself think. Close to anything you need and basically newly remodled and wonderful inside. Perfect for 2 and a simple getaway. My new home away from home! Love it! Perfect!

My bride and I booked this for a long weekend to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary and could not have picked a better place. First of all, communication with Gemma (host) was prompt and easy, and upon arriving, we found the condo spotlessly clean. Bed linens and towels were top notch, and all furnishings were very nice, with everything we needed. The best part of all though, at least to us, was the wonderful porch overlooking the marina. We spent a LOT of time on the porch enjoying the coastal breeze and watchin boatsx come and go. Caswell Beach (free parking) is less than 10 minutes away and we also enjoyed many of the area restaurants, especially the Rusty Hook, which is a 3 minute walk from the condo. The Southport waterfront, shops and restaurants are also very nice. Overall, an excellent getaway experience!

Amazing Location!
Condo was perfectly located on the marina! We sat on the covered deck each night watching the boats come and go while the sun was setting. Even though a restaurant is right next door, it was surprisingly quiet and incredibly convenient! The food at Joseph’s was excellent and a highlight of the trip! We were within a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Southport and all it offers. We will definitely stay here again :)
