Quick overnight stay for Business. Was nice to sleep and Room was big enough

I really like this property. It has an industrial feel and the lobby is cool with a bar and a pool table and plenty of room to hang out, lounge, read, get some work done, etc. The rooms are cool! Walls are thin but it works. The pool, bar, and art on the rooftop make it all worth it. Really cool spot. Parking can be a bit of an issue on the weekends but I recommend this spot for sure.

This place is absolutely amazing. It’s clean, sleek, and the view from our room was unbeatable. While the check-in process is definitely different, they send very detailed instructions on how to properly check in. It’s very easy. We will absolutely be back!

My party stayed at the Magnolia when we were in town for a concert. The staff were friendly and helpful, it's a beautiful and historic building with lots to see nearby and they are pet friendly. The only parking option was valet which was over $40 per day. It's also downtown so if you want a quiet spot this isn't for you. There's a booming nightlife and loud vehicles. While I felt safe the entire time, there's definitely a homeless population that linger in the area too. The beds were not very comfortable, our room's AC didnt' work very well, the lighting wasn't sufficient (the room was dark), the TVs are out of date, there were carpet stains and the rooms havent' been updated for years. For a room to fit four people, there were two towels in the bathroom. Due to staff shortages which is common still, they don't clean the room daily which meant trash piled up and we needed to go to the front desk for TP and towels. They also lost their luggage carts so we had to drag everything down to the lobby ourselves. In my opinion, it's an expensive stay for a budget motel. It wasn't the worst but not a property I would highly recommend.

Overall, solid choice and would stay again. Its 99 years old and very charming. We had a very good size room, comfy bed, spacious bathroom with a modern shower. Dallas is a very spread out city so you are likely to need a car no matter what. There were some good food options to walk to in the area though. Felt like a very safe area. Nice bar in the hotel. Our heat keep breaking and it took me complaining about it 3 times before they did something. Overall, would stay again
