Musty smelly room, didn't looked like a very well maintained place. Shuttle was convenient during their business hours, otherwise watch out for taxi taking you for a ride looping around the airport trying to gouge you for short trip to the hotel!

Misleading

My main complaint is that their listing says they have luggage hold service. I tried messaging them ahead to verify but they never answered me. It ends up the service is only for 24 hours. Hotel.com should remove this from their listing as it reflects badly in its ability to give us accurate information. Needless to say I cancelled my return flight stay there.

Not the best, but good enough.

Not the nearest, but still near the airport. Shampoo dispenser on wall was very hard to use but still can be used. To go from airport to hotel using their free shuttle, you have to call first, preferably before you arrive, even better, before your journey starts. Otherwise, pickup can be a hassle. To go from hotel to airport, just take the free shuttle according to schedule. Hotel building itself is located at an "isolated" place, not much around it except for roads, parking spaces, trees...

Clean, budget hotel with helpful staff.

Arrived unexpectedly at 9.00am on a 13 hour stopover in Pudong airport. I had booked online; staff were unfazed at the early arrival and I had a room in 10 minutes. They spoke basic English - better than the airport "information" officers. Hotel is basic budget model but very clean, everything worked and plenty good hot water. Same standard as a country town budget motel in Australia but 30% cheaper. Taxi was 50 yuan (about AUD12 ) but I needed the help of a policeman to get the directions over to the driver. Lesson: take a scan of the hotel name in Chinese characters and get acquainted with the location of the hotel. (Hotel has a free shuttle to cover the 3-4 km to and from the international airport but you would need to get the times right to use it on your inward journey). In brief, good value for money. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food.

Basic but near the airport

Extremely basic hotel. There were beds and bathroom and a TV, but the room didn't feel too welcoming overall. It was fine for a night waiting for a flight on the following day. There is a subway station nearby but not too convenient to get to places that have shops and restaurants.

Fine for a stop over

The room was fine to sleep in, it was comfortable and quiet. Staff weren't very friendly but ok. We worked out how to get to our room with the help of another traveller. It was disturbing how much plastic packaging there was (towels etc. were sealed in plastic bags) the breakfast had a wide range of food to choose from, some tepid but there was enough for the family to have a satisfying breakfast.

Nice hotel near Pudong Airport and Line 2 Metro

Hotel was easy to reach from the Metro line 2. Taxi's were available but you can easily walk it. Checkin was fast and easy. Hotel was clean and quiet. Hotel has a restaurant but there are no other shops nearby. There is a luxury mall but you would need a taxi.

Very quiet, excellent restaurant.

There are no shops at all, but this makes it very quiet for sleeping and a railway station is only 8 minutes walk away. Trains are cheap and take you to the city with billions of shops!! Restaurant is very professional at country town prices - not like the city prices! Only fault was no room safe. Norm Jones New Zealand.

Good option for overnight layover

No frills lodging for the weary traveler. I can't speak to the food offerings because I was only there to sleep, but the room and bathroom were serviceable. The main thing: transportation to the hotel from the airport was a trial. I was told by airport staff that a shuttle from their hotel came by regularly on the 4th floor by Gate 7; I waited for an hour and did not see anyone with a marked shuttle. No one answered when I called the hotel. I went back downstairs to the Passenger Transit Center; they made a few phone calls and someone came directly to me about half an hour later, coralled me and a few other passengers, waited for another half hour, and was herded into a shuttle that took me to the hotel. Either get a CLEAR game plan from hotel about someone picking you up or just get a taxi (I would've cabbed it but had no way to get Chinese cash as my card would not work with ANY of the ATMs at the airport). Shuttle next morning was normal. Success.

Not a great transit hotel.....

So, first off, it would have been really helpful to know there are two hotels with the same name. I got a taxi to the hotel, only to be told that I needed to be at the #2 hotel. I waited and got a shuttle. When I got to Jinjiang Inn Shanghai Pudong Airport III checked in. I asked about a wakeup call because I had an early flight. No problem with the wake up call, but the first shuttle to the airport in the morning was too late for me to make my flight. Can I get a taxi? No - not at that early hour said the front desk. Really? Yes - Really! So, I had to leave the hotel by cab and find another hotel so that I would be able to make my flight in the morning. Not really what I was looking to do after a 14 hour flight..... I must say though, the lady at the front desk really did try hard to help me.

It is conscientious to travel

It is good and conscientious. We only stay there one night, we'll stay there again if travel the next time.
