This is my first time in Lombok & I really enjoy the stay with my family. The staffs are so kind & nice, specially the head chef, restaurant manager Imran & Ulan from the restaurant. My family will never forget ulan because of her cheerfulness & kindness. But anyway thanks to every single staffs to make out this journey unforgettable.

The rooms have an incredible view of the ocean, with each room having an infinity pool. Our pool didn't have steps to get in or out, so this might be an issue for some people. The staff here are amazing, so friendly and very accommodating. Stand out staff members were Imron and Wulan. Thank you both for making our stay wonderful. Your smiles and happy nature will be remembered.

Terrible place to stay

The worst stay in recent times. The general manager of the hotel was unapologetic and ridiculously annoying guy. Some of the highlights: (1) The food in the restaurant was stale and raw/uncooked (2) The bathrooms were clogged with water (we stayed in a 3 room villa - prime property) (3) The service was pathethic, we were told that restaurant was serving other group, despite us arriving earlier than that group (4) The alcohol was not available after one serve (5) Dirty linens and sheets . The worse part was our interaction with the so called general manager who was totally indifferent and apologetic - despite paying a bomb he casually told us that we are not perfect.

Luxurious stay

It’s definitely a great place for honeymooners. Peaceful, with private pool and large tub. Service was good. Staff was really friendly. We brought our 3 children there (Sorry for the chaos caused). The tub is so huge that all 3 kids can fit inside. The food from the restaurant taste delicious. It’s slightly on the expensive side but it’s worth the money. This is not a downside. More of managing expectation: Since Lombok is known to be a place of nature, have to expect mosquitoes in the villa.

The hotel itself is beautiful and clean, and the staff is very kind and helpful. Note that the private pools don’t have stairs to get into them, so if you have a mobility impairment you can’t get in or out. The breakfasts are good, but we were served avocado toast with brown avocado that tasted past due. The restaurant food is excellent. The reason for the poor review is that while enjoying our pool late in the afternoon, me and my spouse start noticing thick white smelly smoke, which was actually an employee that was spraying TOXIC pesticides with a gas powered smoke machine. Because of the wind, our whole villa was submerged in this smoke, and while we seeked refuge inside, the villas are made with non-sealed windows,doors and roofs, so we could still smell the smoke inside. They apparently do this once per week so just hope you’re not there when it happens.

This property is located on high elevation delivering awesome views to the ocean. You must upgrade to ocean views to enjoy the ocean as well as neighboring island, Bali. The staff is extremely accommodating and will enhance your stay at the hotel, providing all relevant tours and events the Lombok has to offer. The waterfall Sendang Gile is a must visit. We stayed in the Anila villa 213 with private plunge pool and breathtaking views.

Kalandara has a million dollar view. The staff is super nice. The bed is super comfortable. There is only one restaurant and if you get the all-inclusive plan, your options are limited to choose from. We had two massages each and they were okay... the massage part was 45 mins out of the hour the first time. It is a short walk from the lobby to the beach so you do have beach access. Be aware that it is an hour drive from Lombok Airport to Kalandara. They do include airport transfers from and to the airport. The hotel is fairly small so plan to go explore Lombok and Gilli Islands or it may get boring.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful from pick up at airport to drop off they even packed us a breakfast box as our flight was early morning. The villa was beautiful and the view was spectacular. A very relaxing stay. Yes you can hear the local mosques several times a day but we expected that so not a problem for us.

Fabulous relaxing fresh resort!

Best or top 3 hotels I have been to , excellent. It’s one year old and better than the photos. It’s not very complex to have multiple restaurants and swimming pools but it has all you need. Beautiful rooms, excellent private pool, amazing view, good all inclusive meals. It is a total relaxation paradise piece. Only downside maybe not so many options for breakfast buffet and the lift was not working some times but there were buggy to take to to your room always. Well done to the designer and owner. Also some rooms had privacy issues when in the private pool. Should have thought better. But overall excellent place to relax and visit Lombok and nearby Gillis

What a stunning property. There is nothing at ground level in Sengiggi as beautiful as Kalandara. The views! The architecture! I will carry in my heart for a lifetime. The staff couldn’t do enough. Nawja (Nanas) was attentive and fulfilled all of our requests - such an asset. The travelator wasn’t working for the duration of our stay but Roni was always on hand to take us in his golf buggy with a ready smile. The pastry chef was amazing - all viennoisserie was flaky and buttery. The rest of the food, however, could have been better. We were very impressed with your staff. Our first time in Lombok was 30 years ago and Kalandara didn’t disappoint.
