Home is on 7 acres of incredible forest (300+ year old trees), landscaping with biking, hiking and walking trails. With amenities like Wi Fi, and AC, you'll have everything you need for a terrific vacation.
One of a kind quaint, romantic, charming, private and updated cottage. Lot on lake is 2 minute drive or 6 minute walk from cottage.

Close to restaurants, 15 minutes to downtown Bellingham and historic Fairhaven and Western Washington University. 90 miles to Seattle and 60 miles to Vancouver, BC. 1 hour to skiing or sight-seeing at Mt. Baker.
Enjoy all that Lake Whatcom and Bellingham has to offer when you stay at our place.

Beautiful property with kind hosts
The grounds are absorbed beauty with miles of paths in the surrounding woods that you can hike. Took off a star in accuracy of listing only bacause the hot tub wasn't initially available. The hosts hadn't had guests who wanted to use it in the winter before, and it took a couple days to heat up. That being said, the hosts were extremely accomodating, and generous and did end up turning on the hot tub for us. I think if you have a winter stay and let them know you plan to use it when you book, they would be more than happy to make sure it's turned on.I cannot stress enough how kind the hosts were. They helped us bring our things in, left a bottle of wine for us with a tray of snacks, and were personally available if we had any questions or needed help with something, but still gave us our space and privacy. I highly recommend staying there.

Had an amazing stay here. Steve was a wonderful host and communicated well with us. Great location for outdoor activities and short term stay for work in Bellingham. Highly recommend staying here!
