Great Weekend Getaway with Friends

We had a great two night stay with friends at this house. The place was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Check-in and check-out were super easy. It was the perfect spot to relax and catch up with friends, would definitely stay here again!

Early spring stay

It was a family celebration of my wife's birthday over a weekend; two nights. Most meals were prepared at the house. The kitchen had great appliances and a gas stove. Pretty well equipped. The bathrooms. Two bathrooms was a bit awkward, especially for the couple staying downstairs. The shower in the master ensuite is a bit makeshift. Unfortunately, the early spring weather prevented us from using the deck, which looked nice. The cues for the pool table were practicalbly unusable. Overall, a good place but could use attention to some details.

Great view. Lots of space.

Home worked out well for our weekend. Well equipped kitchen. Cleaners forgot to dust but overall clean. Odd bedroom without a real door which is the way out to deck. Very odd transformed bathtub shower in master bathroom. Nice driveway so easy to park. Quiet neighborhood.

Nice and large

We were pleasantly surprised on size to accommodate 9 people! The set up was a bit odd with needing to put one child outside in the seperate suit (works if teenager) The home was comfortable and bright! Great morning light to sit outside in. Multiple pieces of furniture were broken (coffee table, pullout couch, grey arm chair) Kitchen as easy to work in but lacked some equipment. Overall it worked for our families and we worked through the hiccups.

Spacious Retreat

Having separate bedrooms for all our married children plus a table big enough for all eight made this a win. Having two separate gathering areas was an added bonus. We loved discovering Seschelt!

Beautiful view

We had a wonderful time together in this beautiful home. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front deck and family dinner on the back patio. The home was spacious, well furnished and clean. We’ll be back.

Great spot

Great spot, close to the ocean and all stores within 5 min drive. Pullout couch downstairs was broken but we just used to couch to sleep. Beautiful home and yard with amazing gardens.

Excellent location for family celebration

We came to Kin Rancher to celebrate our mother/grandmother's 80th birthday (all our family gatherings have been cancelled over the past 2 years because of COVID, so we were really looking forward to this trip). The house was absolutely perfect for our group of 10 people (ranging in age from 12 to 80), and we loved the open concept kitchen/living area so we could all sit together for meals. It was warm enough to sit on the back deck in the afternoons (but a bit too early in the year to enjoy the outside spaces otherwise). Views were spectacular! A short 5-minute drive into Sechelt - we walked it once for the exercise, but not really do-able unless you like walking up & down hilly roads! Located in a newer subdivision so everything in the neighbourhood is very clean and well-maintained. Garren was very quick to respond to texts and there were no issues at all with checking in. We loved our stay here, and all agreed that we would definitely come again.

Great place

Awesome location and house very clean and wel kept with maintenance. Beautiful view, not far to all amenities.... only problem communication with the owner. Kid were cold in the house and we didn't have access to turn heat up in house. We messaged the owner but took long time to reply it was too late and we already getting up in the morning. Also would be nice to have another television upstairs in the main living room area for kids to watch tv while we cook.. But overall an excellent place to stay with family and friends

Family friendly stay with a beautiful view

We had a great week visiting family on the coast, and Garren was very fast to respond to the few questions we had. The garden is gorgeous and the view is incredible, with space for our extended family to visit. I would recommend stocking the kitchen to allow for more eating at home. We needed to borrow pots, pans, bowls, sharp knives, more cutlery, serving spoons, platters, tea towels for drying dishes etc, as we hosted quite a few dinners including Thanksgiving.

Fun exploring the Sunshine Coast.

Loved the rental unit, we were 8 adults staying for 3 nights. The only complaint was there was no access to the bathroom downstairs area. Some better kitchen cooking utensils for the BBQ would have been nice but we made it work! It is a beautiful house, very comfortable for all of us!

Comfortable and spacious home

We had a lovely vacation time in this home. The location was convenient and the yard well kept. Good amenities (tv, wifi and linens) The kitchen was lacking cutlery and cooking pots/utensils. We would have appreciated a binder with key information available for reference. The response time to messages was slow. Perhaps if the host can’t respond quickly, he could have property management do it for him.

Beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a group of two families (10 people in total). Beautiful garden and yard. Beautiful home. Very clean and well- stocked amenities. Appliances were excellent and all in working order. Two great dining areas - indoors and the outdoor patio were great. Well organized recycling bins and garbage area. Convenient location (few minutes from Sechelt and few minutes from the beach). Beautiful neighbourhood. Very responsive host - Garren answered all my questions quickly !

hospitality from owner was excellent

the house was large and so clean the only issues was less shower, Master bedroom only has bath, and there was one shower in hallway, and if you ask for extra room out of the house in back yard there was complete suit there, with shower, which we used it too. for us because we were one family was ok but i think if we r with friends we have to think about shower , we booked for 9 people. and i have to say no access to the beach for kids in the house but it was beautiful view in home, in total we had a great time there, and thank you Mr Garren.
