Quintessential lake home on Lake Bob Sandlin. This property is the perfect weekend getaway boasting beautiful lake views from almost every room inside the home.

The open floor plan with large windows allow bright, natural light to flow throughout, granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, and a beautiful stone fireplace in the living room. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, fully stocked and wet bar give you everything you need for your stay. Sit back and relax in the living room on the couch and catch your favorite show on the 50” TV.

The 3 large bedrooms and loft with a pull out couch and daybed sleep 10 comfortably, 3 full sized baths and half bath allow plenty of privacy for all. A full size airbed is also available in addition to sleep 1 more person. The primary suite is located downstairs with a king size bed and an ensuite bath equipped with dual sinks and a large glass shower and your own private entrance to the back porch and large backyard. Upstairs houses 2 private bedrooms. One with a queen size bed and an ensuite bath, and the other with a full size bed. The loft holds a pullout couch and daybed making this ideal for those with a large family!

Surrounded by rolling hills and gorgeous pine, oak, and hardwood trees, the views are unlike any other. The expansive back porch gives plenty of space for grilling and relaxing. Walk down to the shoreline for night by the water roasting marshmallows in the firepit to make the experience underneath a star-studded East Texas sky even more special.

Whether you’re fishing, boating around the lake, or just simply taking it all in, you will never be at a loss for things to do during your stay with us. We can’t wait to have you!

Garage is an owners garage and is not open to guests. Guests are not permitted to use the jet ski’s or watercraft lift at the boathouse. Watercraft may he tied to the dock.

We have stayed here for the past 3 years and love it! The house is always clean, and the beds are comfortable. The dock is great to fish off of, and the view is gorgeous! 5 stars!

Nice location but there are issues with the house.

There are a few things that need attention. When we got there Saturday, the HVAC downstairs was on auto and the vents in the bedroom were blowing hot air. I changed the thermostat to cool and it cooled as it should. A day or so later it was cool outside so I set it back to auto and it provided heat. The upstairs shower in the hall bath runs hot, then cold. then hot, then cold. I don't know if it is a water heater or shower control valve problem. There were no problems in the downstairs shower. It would be helpful if the listing stated there is no coffee maker other than a Keurig. The Keurig worked fine and there was a good supply of pods but we brought coffee expecting a coffeemaker. There must have been one at sometime since there is a permanent filter and paper filters on the top shelf in the cabinet. The internet was out during our entire stay which was a real problem since I had work to do and was depending on it. Plus the TV's only have internet based service so no TV. I have communicated these items to Shelby, the host, over three weeks ago and followed up three days ago but she has not seen fit to respond. Communication before we booked the location was quick but afterwards just silence.

Really nice place

This house was so nice, and well kept! The house is very well furnished, and the owner accommodated all of our needs. The porch and balcony are great with beautiful views of the lake and sunrise. I highly recommend, and be returning.

We are a group of classmates that have been doing a weekend on the lake for 17 years! We loved the house size, location & amenities. The only things we wished were better was the grass should have been mowed it was too high & snaky. It was kinda cool so we used the fire pit & walking to & from the pit in flips flops was not fun. Also the master bathroom was not cleaned, toilet was dirty.

Great Retreat

Loved the property! It was a great retreat for all of our family to get together. Very spacious and plenty of bathrooms. Loved the porch and fire pit area by the lake. We will definitely keep it in mind for another family get together!

Such a beautiful lake house. Looks right over the lake, double boat dock and huge fire pit.

The enormous kitchen island made it so convenient for putting our Thanksgiving feast together. The lot was perfect for playing ball, fishing, swimming or sitting by the fire pit. It was the dream house and setting for a family gathering but alas Mother Nature disagreed and it pour torrential rains for 3 days. Maybe you will have better luck. This Vrbo is a dream. I recommend it highly.

We really enjoyed this house, the property backs up perfectly to the lake with no sudden drop offs. Great for kids and it makes it easy to do water activities. The back porch and dock has ceiling fans which makes it enjoyable to sit and relax. Perfect little get away!
