The property itself was okay, but on a busy road and hard to get in and out of. The bed and pillows were not comfortable. The room also needs an iron and ironing board.

They overbooked and didn’t have my room I booked and paid for 6 weeks prior. I was not told till I pulled into the property neither the property or Orbitz bothered to let me know prior. I was left scrambling for a new room at the last minute and had to deal with Orbitz to arrange my refund back. Bush league, highly unprofessional. Will never do business with either again.

Great little Florida motel

Great price. Room was very clean. Our only complaint was the AC was a large unit for a small room. It was difficult to get the temperature to a comfortable level and we woke up repeatedly during the night due to being too cold. The comforter was very heavy and kept slipping off the bottom of the bed which made the issue of being cold harder to deal with.

Everything was fine and the price excellent. The motel is older but very well kept. The pool was clean. The shower was large and spotless. I’d definitely stay here again.

For the price and location the Sunshine Inn and Suites is great. All rooms recently updated, shower is new, bed comfortable. They have fridge, microwave, coffee in room We have stayed there twice and would go again. Pool is clean as well.

Good place to lay your head

I gave 4 stars because it was what I needed the stay to be. Somewhere to sleep while visiting family. I stayed in room 119 and it had newly been remodeled though pretty haphazardly done. Bed was firm, water was warm and the AC was kickin! The drain in the shower barely drained so we showered while standing in a pool and the bathroom door wasn’t hung correctly so it didn’t stay shut. The pool was decent for a quick dip and staff was responsive the one time I needed them for an extra key. Coffee in the room was old and stale. If you’ve got a vehicle, everything is within reach and there are stores/restaurants within walking distance. I didn’t give a 5th star because when I originally booked the room it was with a card I had to replace 5 months before the trip. Not realizing it, I didn’t change the card info over and they didn’t even try to contact me within the days leading up to the stay and they just canceled the booking. Makes the morning of travel full of anxiety thinking I wouldn’t have a place to stay for 4 days but luckily there were still rooms available.

Beach hotel but not beach front

The pool is small but there. The room was basic but good for the price. Close to the beaches about a 5min drive. Lots of shops and restaurants near by.

This place is a little charm, its a perfect place if you are looking to stay near the beach and downtown Venice. I loved it. It has everything you need, the beds were too soft for my liking but comfortable for sure. We felt safe and comfortable. I would stay here again.
