The ocean view was excellent. The room was smaller than we a use to, TV reception was poor and it was difficult to sit at the table in the room because the table was to tall for the chairs provided.

We’ve stayed here many times. One of our favorite places in Cambria/San Simeon area. The staff is super friendly and super accommodating, and although the rooms are a bit dated, they have fireplaces and the property sits right on the ocean. The attached restaurant is really good as well. Can’t wait to come back.

I love the property and the coastline. I can hear the waves from my room and it was soothing. I love the fire pits and the coziness. I will definitely stay at the same place again on my next trip to San Simeon.

We stayed in the rooms with direct ocean views, it was so beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and extra large. The fireplace was such a bonus, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Lastly, the balcony was great for watching the ocean. We will be back!

The place is beautiful and right on the beach. They have a wood burning fireplace in the room and they light bonfires along the beach every night. The rooms are clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that there is no microwave, So no way to heat food from home, store-bought foods, orleftovers from the restaurant, etc.

Upon entering the room in the late evening, we found two big bugs in the sink. Next morning, we got bug bite also. When we reported to the front desk, they offered to discount first and refund. Since we booked the room via Expedia, the staff at the front desk gave us Expedia's phone number to call. We called and Expedia then tried to collect the refund on our behalf. After three days, Expedia told us it was impossible to get the refund.

Since they weren't busy, they upgraded my room for free. That's the sort of nice gesture that'll bring me back if I'm in the area again. The staff was great and the room was great. I'd definitely recommend this to friends.
