Fantastic pool and fitness area. What the building is lacking is insulation. We could hear every footstep above us. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep!

The staff at the desk are very nice, and the bed comfy. The shower was horribly dirty. In fact I chose to place a hand towel on the floor of shower in order to take a quick rinse.

This hotel is way too overpriced for the accommodations. Website misleading with breakfast available. It is not included but you have to pay high prices at the restaurant for a terrible breakfast. Surrounding area was very sketchy. Sirens running all night. Would not recommend

Bad choice.
The front desk help was surly. I felt like I was doing them a favor by staying there. The 1st night I was there a maintenance person used his pass key to gain entry unannounced. Stay over rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis. I believe I was not given the room rate that was quoted on the Hotels.com website. because of this I will give serious consideration of not using Hotels.com.again, or staying at Holiday Inn Salem.

Housekeeping did not take room service dishes and just flat out did not service our room second day. Front desk made no apologies when I came to get towels and coffee and did not offer to bring it up to the room but instead had me wait in line at the desk. Bed was comfortable. Great location.

The hotel itself was pretty decent. However, the homeless in the area have taken over the surrounding areas including the back parking lot. Parking in front of the building is limited.
