Convenient

Friends in apartment across the street. Very convenient location. I enjoyed the morning breakfast. One complaint - air conditioning in room VERY loud, but it did cool the room sufficiently.

Premier Copacabana hotel review

Premier Copacabana is an excellent hotel. The location is conveniently across the street from the METRO. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The staff was helpful. The only minor issues with my room (#506) were the middle window's latch was loose. It had 2 phillips set screws that need to be tightened. The shower door didn't fully close so the 2 door hinges should be replaced. I will stay there again the next time I visit Rio.

The hotel offers good WiFi and bathrooms. The AC was also great, which I really liked. My only complaint was the rude behavior of the “manager.” I thought he was the main security guard because of his attitude. Usually, managers want to ensure a pleasant stay for their guests, but this wasn’t the case. Additionally, the elevators were out of order for half of the time. Despite these issues, I would still recommend the hotel. Just skip the manager with the gray suit.

A Hotel In A Great Location

My many stays at the Premier Copacabana have always been pleasant and comfortable. The hotel's location is fantastic for walking to neighborhood restaurants, the beach, Cambio establishments and the subway system. Kudōs to the desk staff, hotel restaurant help and the hard-working chamber maids and maintenance. Premier Copacabana Hotel is my go to hotel when I visit Rio.

The gym is extremely underwhelming ….room had a strong weird odour at times ….. plenty of insects albeit the climate is tropica in Rio …. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Breakfast provided plenty of options. Location is in walking distance to the train and also the beach/boardwalk. Room with 2 twin beds was small, so not some place you can hang out in. Rooftop pool was very nice, not crowded, and provided excellent views.
