Main lobby and subsequent 'Restaurants' and lounge are impeccably maintained but under utilized. Almost giving an 'overlook hotel' feel to the place. Once you got past all the presentation; you enter a maze of hallways which contain bleach stained carpets that appear to be in a style reminiscent of the early 2000's - The walk to my room revealed a small room with an ice machine, and a microwave, foreshadowing the rooms lack of one... It also had a 'fitness center' which had a few treadmills and a bench with a single pair of dumbbells; I stepped in to examine the room and was attacked by what can only be described as the smell of a teenage boys month old gym bag.
Once I made it to my room which was very standard fair, with the exception of the aforementioned microwave, I give them high praise for the amount of USB charging port, and their entertainment system which includes the ability to Bluetooth your phone to play your own audio. But the WIFI, at least the free version cause I'm not paying $10 a day for internet, was slow so you couldn't utilize the netflix/youtube/pandora aspects available on the tv system. The bathroom featured a barn style sliding door which is Instagram worthy, and the separate vanity area was a welcome note. However the tub, while a larger than standard size, featured no anti-slip technology and was like being a featured star on the ice capades, that coupled with the very weak water pressure made the shower feel like a chore, rather than an escape.
