Overall a good a stay, but had more of a best western conversion in the room. The lobby was nice and convenient. The suite I stayed in was funky in lay out. Looks like it was in the middle of a remodel or not sure what they were doing with it. big open area with only a 2 seater armchair, just felt open and wasted space. bedroom was nice, but the tub which i thought was a 1 seater was actually a 2 seater in the shape of a heart. Little more cheesy than romantic. Main bathroom was good except only 1 sink and very short tub, like a converted ADA bathroom. Good place for a get away over night up to Ventura/Oxnard

The property seemed aged. The room rugs looked worn and their color looked faded. In the bathroom you could not use the tub to lay down in. The shower head was coated in minerals and was difficult to adjust. Above the bed it looks as if someone with a dirty hand trampolined off the bed and put a dirty handprint on the ceiling that we had to look at for three days. TV control was awkward to use.

I would stay again

Change of plans required two beds instead of one and i had no problems changing it at check in. Staff was nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable but there was a slight musty odor in the room but wasnt enough to make me want to requst another room.

Got a double bed which the moment you open the door you smell the mold in the room! So strong and bad. Then the AC didn’t work. Of course they don’t have another room to change it too with double beds so gave us another room with a pull out bed which was tiny and uncomfortable to say the least. So went from 2 queen to 1 queen which meant had to sleep in the floor.

Easy access to the highway but far enough not to hear noise, free parking, convenient mini store for quick snacks or amenities, lots of seating/waiting area in the lobby, friendly staff (front desk clerk, housekeeping), clean room with comfortable bed and pillows, clean bathroom with clean towels, sufficient shampoo/conditioner/body soap/lotion, clean tub and good shower head. No problems with A/C, coffeemaker. Ok carpet. Very welcoming ambience in lobby (good lighting). I felt safe.

I was very comfortable and felt very safe as I had my 3 children with me, a set of rambunctious twins and a 7 year old autistic son. The area was extremely easy to get to right off the freeway and I was driving in from Lubbock, Texas.
