The staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds, easy parking on property. Location was close to downtown. Right near the university so could be noisy on weekends. But, definitely recommend.

Stayed here for a festival in town! Absolutely beautiful location, and while it is in a very quiet part of Ottawa, it is still an easily-walkable distance from all the major locales. Delicious breakfast and lovely rooms!

We were impressed with the character and cleanliness. We have been in old B&Bs which were decrepit. This one is beautifully clean and the breakfast was excellent. But when we arrived after dark, we asked where to eat and were not given directions. East then North in the direction of Byward Market is a mass of unfortunate humanity that did not make us feel safe. Also, parking in front was not available on the second night, but no one told us we could part at the rear of the building.

It's a beautiful, historic building the rooms are decorated with Victorian period decor, the breakfast is great and the staff friendly and helpful at a very reasonable rate. Definitely would return.

I love staying in old houses and this inn was an excellent example. The breakfast was excellent But if you cannot manage stairs, it won’t work for you

Found the place really charming and well taken care of. Staff was really incredible. We walked everywhere. Will strongly recommend if old charm is what you are looking for. And also amazing choice of breakfast!

We stayed for 3 nights the staff is lovely, there is a lways someone on the premises. The room ,21, was large and the bathroom was clean and spacious. We had alittle trouble with the TV but we called down stairs and someone came right up to fix it. Breakfast was very tasty and easy parking on premises. It was in walking distance of all we were doing.

Lovely house but.......

Room was spacious and very clean but could not get TV to work and no instructions for use. Breakfast was inconsistent as not offered juice on first day ( unaware it was available) only found out on 2nd day when other guests had it on their table. 2nd day no toast offered but when asked management his response was did you ask for it. We hoped for maybe cereal or bowl of fresh fruit so overall Breakfast was just adequate.
