No way to regulate the heat/cold in the room, which was a bit disturbing since there was a heatwave at the moment and the room was VERY hot. Also the were not mini fridge which would have been nice, especially since it was so warm.

The single rooms were really small, they were so hot and the hotel had no fans. Breakfast was great and on the whole the staff were helpful....at times difficult to find one.

Great hotel but....
Great little hotel but there where some details that where missing. As per other reviews the hotel seems a bit dated in the rooms. Rooms could do with stripping out and starting again. Definite lack of kettle in room. Hotel staff where very friendly and felt they made up the lack of investment in the hotel. Only if the rooms where better I would rate 5/5 not 3/5

Nooit meer Fletcher Veldenbos
Aan de vriendelijkheid van de personeelsleden zal het echt niet liggen. Tenminste van de meeste, want waarom geef je een gast die in een rolstoel binnenkomt en maar moeilijk kan lopen een kamer waarvoor hij een trap met smalle treden moet beklimmen, wetende dat er in de gang boven ook nog een gevaarlijke afstap is. Dan heb je nog niet zoveel met hospitality! Eerlijkheid gebiedt te melden dat na het ontbijt iemand een andere kamer heeft aangeboden maar toen waren we al klaar met Fletcher Veldenbos. Bij het betreden van de kamer kwam je een muffe, vochtige, schimmelige lucht te gemoed. De vloerbedekking golfde door de kamer. Deze zat ook vol onduidelijke vlekken waar je maar beter niet over nadenkt. Bij het open zetten van de ramen waren we bang dat deze uit de ongeverfde raamkozijnen zouden vallen. Het gebouw heeft zeker 20 jaar (maar waarschijnlijk nog langer) geen verfkwast gezien. De natte ruimte (want een badkamer mag het niet heten) bestaat uit een toilet op kleuterhoogte en als je deze gebruikt zit je met de knieën klem onder de wastafel. Verder is er een regendouche die bij gebruik de natte ruimte blank zet omdat het douchescherm met geen mogelijkheid tot schuiven te bewegen is. Hobbelige knobbelige bedden maken dit geheel volgen Fletcher tot een 3 sterren ‘hotelkamer’. Eén ding is duidelijk: ambassadrice Mirna heeft hier waarschijnlijk nog nooit haar gezicht laten filmen!

Cozy place near train station, 15min walk to downtown, friendly staff. Breakfast is gorgeous. Cross the street is community park with some animals like goats, sheep and deers. Love this place.

Schotten tussen kamers zijn onvoldoende geïsoleerd. Lawaai van tv van de buren was erg vervelend. Na klacht bij de buren was dit minder. Toch aangenaam verblijf en goed sfeer. Het lawaai van de herten was goed hoorbaar.

Het personeelstekort was talk of the day bij personeel. Er werd gezeurd op directie, op het uitoefenen van taken die niet bij hen horen. De kamer was vies, de cv in de badkamer werd niet warm, schimmel in de badkamer en we ontbeten naast een kapotgevallen lamp op de vloer, dus met de voeten in het glas. De ligging is fantastisch maar ik weet niet of ik weer naar dit hotel terugkom.

Meget slidt hotel.
Alle andre har fremhævet morgenmaden,enig den var rigtig fin. Men,ellers er der ikke meget at råbe hurra for. Vi havde 2 værelser,2 overnatninger,til 4 personer,det ene lugtede fælt fra et afløb på toilettet,det andet var meget lille og var slet ikke rent. Der var opsat en jerntrappe lige udenfor vinduet,så disse ikke kunne åbnes,håber ikke disse vinduer var beregnet til nødudgang. Rengøringspersonalet glemte at låse døren efter endt rengøring.så vores bagage stod ubevogtet hele dagen. Receptionisten om aftenen havde meget travlt,da staklen både var receptionist,kok og tjener. Alt i alt et meget slidt hotel,der trænger til decideret rengøring. Det ku være så godt,hvis ikke det var så skidt.
