The building is right on the highway and my room was on the highway side. The truck noise was terrible throughout the night. For dinner, the only place to eat is at the Double Tree, barely walking distance. The food was excellent there.

This property is off the main highway and in a very beneficial spot. Easy access to all things. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is included. Rooms are exactly what I expected. For the money it is the best in the area

I chose this property because it had a shuttle. I called several days in advance to let them know that my plane would be arriving at 11:40 p.m. The last shuttle was midnight and I wanted to know if they would work with me. I was told to call as soon as the plane landed. I called before boarding my connecting flight in Atlanta at 10 p.m...again, to make sure the shuttle driver was aware. I called when the plane landed in Norfolk. I was instructed to go to the pick up spot. It was 11:50 p.m. I waited. No shuttle arrived. I called the hotel and listened on the phone as the desk clerk called the shuttle. The calls went to voice mail. I ended up paying $16 for a cab to get to the hotel. I was disappointed, to say the least. They offered to comp me the cost of the cab on my bill . But because the reservations came through a third party, they could not.
