I realize it is new, but my shower door did not open due to the new caulking. I also disliked the fact that no room key was required to operate the elevator. Anyone can just walk in from the street on the 1st floor, not face any security, hop straight into the elevator that is close to the door, and walk upto my 8th floor suite. Need some security.

Great room, comfortable bad and very clean. But one problem no bottled water. Went to vending and it was broke. Went to Ruth Chris’s Steak House and they wanted $8.00 per bottle so I had to walk two blocks in pouring rain to get affordable drinks(water).

Wow! I maybe write a review once every 5 years. Only if it’s impeccable or awful. This was awful. You pay a decent amount to have the vents covered in dust(I kept sneezing) , the coffee pot is in the BATHROOM. Literal poo particals on the coffee pot. We had no hot water for baths. The evelvator by the parking garage were out and we had to carry our bags 3 flights of stairs to leave hotel… also, the casino was across the street…not at the same location…. When I spoke to the concierge about the elevators(just to let them know they were out) He laughed and said he knew they were out. I told him he needed to have a sign out because people are just waiting… his reply was “ oh yea, we should put a sign” Also… the free parking is ridiculous. After asking 3 times how the complimentary parking works… absolutely no one tells you that you have to go to a kiosk IN THE ACTUAL CASINO to collect the ticket. They said, go to a parking kiosk. So any normal person thinks… to go in the parking garage to a parking kiosk… no, you get stuck at the bottom, messing with a machine, in a one way out lane. Would never go back. Not even if it was free 😵‍💫

First of all, shame on Hotels.com for advertising this hotel as Ceasars, when it was Harrah's. There are two hotels in NOLA under the Caesars name. The old Harrah's was taken over by Caesars but has not been refurbished yet. The pictures online make it look like you will be in the new hotel but beware, you are not. I made my issue known to the front desk clerk and concierge. They did try to make it right, but it was such a fiasco that we just stayed put. Needless to say, our room never got cleaned the whole time because you had to request cleaning...who knew???? Anyway, this is not a Harrah's issue, I blame Hotels.com and will probably not use them again. The staff at Harrah's tried their best to make us happy and for that I commend them. Having said, the Harrah's hotel is very old and tired and not very clean. They can do better in keeping the hotel rooms up and dusted, painted, wallpaper glued back and holes in the bed frame fixed. It's as if they have let the hotel go until they got the new one open, sad actually because it is a nice hotel but in need of TLC.

Booked a double queen room. Room was not ready when I arrived at 5:30. I was told I would be texted when it was done being cleaned. I checked back at 7 and found out the hotel oversold my room type and put me in a long room with the promise of a roll away. Found out later a rollaway would not be available. Asked for more towels, which were left in a trash bag on our door handle. Floors were so dirty that my socks were black on bottom. Elevators sounded like they could break down at any moment.

Majority of the staff were amazing and helpful, however when we arrived to our room we realized they had not finished cleaning/resetting it. We had no towels and had to wait over 2 hours to receive the towels we requested multiple times. We were in a 2 queen room and one of the beds was not made with a comforter/duvet, only a sheet. We never received this during our entire stay after requesting it both nights. Staff was very kind and helpful, AMAZING bellman but housekeeping either needs a new system or better training.
