We invite you to enjoy our charming Brown County Getaway with a lodge and sprinkle of midcentury modern vibes! This house is perfect for a family, remote workers, or group of friends.

The lodge is a short drive to:

3 min - Brown County State Park (North Gate Entrance)
7 min - Brown County Music Center
8 min - Downtown Nashville

Located right off State Road 46, between Columbus and Bloomington, you'll be just a short drive from all that Brown County has to offer. Perfect for a small family vacation or weekend getaway with friends, this comfortable lodge provides the perfect spot to rest and rejuvenate. The ideal amount of guests would be 6 people but I can certainly fit 8 if two are willing to sleep on couches. Don't worry about parking either - ample free parking spaces are available in front of the lodge - perfect for larger groups.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT:
The lodge features 3 bedrooms - all with log style frames and the most comfortable mattresses.
-Bedroom 1 (ensuite bathroom): Queen size bed
-Bedroom 2: Full size bed
-Bedroom 3: Queen size bed
-Couch Sleepers: Two “Article” leather couches each measures 83.5” L x 35” W. All bedding and pillows will be provided. These are not pull out sofa beds.

COMMON AREA:
The open floor plan of my lodge is ideal for entertainment or cozying up for family time. The barstools are perfect for a morning cup of coffee, giving you the chance to start your day with a gorgeous view out of the french doors onto the backyard and beyond. On cooler evenings, relax in front of the gas fireplace and enjoy being surrounded by warmth and comfort. I also offer a dedicated work space in this area so that you can do all your remote work with ease thanks to having an ample number of convenient sources for power, USB ports and high speed WiFi. After working, take some time to explore the selection of books scattered throughout the lodge.

BATHROOM:
The lodge has two full bathrooms. One in the master bedroom and another in the living room. Complimentary bathroom essentials provided. A baby bather is available for infants.

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one needs to prepare meals, You will have a tea bar for all your favorite brews, a coffee maker for that needed afternoon cup of joe, and a blender for those morning breakfast smoothies. The kitchen also supplies children's utensils and booster seat.

LAUNDRY ROOM:
After a long day of hitting the trails at Brown County State Park, use the dryer & washer should you need to wash your clothes before packing up. Basic laundry essentials are provided.

PETS:
We are dog friendly. Please make sure to add your pet to your reservation prior to booking. Only ONE dog per stay is permitted, however exceptions can be made. Please message me prior to booking. Mandatory pet fee of $185 per stay is non refundable. The fee goes towards a deep clean after your stay.

-The dog must be free of fleas and ticks.
-If the dog is left alone in the lodge, the dog should be kept in a kennel. Please note that the kennel is NOT provided by the lodge.
-Guests are asked to clean up after their pets and dispose of any waste appropriately.
-Any damage from pets (chewed furnishings, urine/fecal stains, etc) will be brought to guest’s attention after check out, and may result in additional fees.

CELLULAR SIGNAL:
Cellular signal may not always be reliable around Brown County. Verizon will provide the best signal. I highly recommend downloading offline maps on your phone as you explore places including Brown County State Park.

WINTER DRIVING:
Snow tire chains and/or 4-wheel drive vehicles are highly encouraged during winter months in the event of inclement weather.
I recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance for all planned vacations. Travel Insurance will protect your Investment in the event of a weather event that would make roads impassable to vehicles with 4WD and/or chains.

The property was exactly as described on Verbo. It was very clean and very charming. Lots of unexpected little things like many games (for inside and outside) and such a variety of books! The kitchen had all the necessities of home and then some. Beds were super comfy, which always makes a stay anywhere so much better. The owners were very friendly and helpful in all communication we had. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this property. Hope to be back ourselves in the future!

Our family loved this property. It was well stocked and had everything we could have possibly needed. The open floor plan allowed lots of play space for our 18 month old grandson. It was very clean and checking in and out was extremely easy and convenient. We also appreciated the fenced in backyard with fire pit and two large porches to relax on. Everyone agreed that this was the perfect place for our family time.

The cabin was very comfortable and had EVERYTHING that you could possibly need. My daughters loved all of the spa items. The washer wasn’t working when we were there but it didn’t really impact our stay. The pet fee is a little expensive but they did have a lot of items just for the dogs to make their stay enjoyable as well. Would highly recommend!

Okie doke I have a new Extra Clean, Well stocked Cabin!
My husband & I met my brother/Sister-in-law e I in Nashville IN for the wknd to golf & see the town. What a wonderful surprise this cabin was! It is located on State Rd 46, but don’t let this stop you from staying here. It sits off of the road far enough that it’s not a problem at all. It’s located close to everything and so nice inside! The cabin is one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in and we’re pretty picky! The owner is here has also gone way above expectations when stocking the inside. It’s a great cabin for families or couples. The cabin is very welcoming! We would definitely stay here again!

The property was perfect for a long weekend!! It was very clean and stocked with basic essentials. Having the open layout in the main living area was great for the toddler and allowed him plenty of room to run around and play. we absolutely loved our stay here. it was perfect for our two families (4 adults and 2 kids). the space was large and beautiful, and close to everywhere we wanted to go. The interior of the space was not only beautifully decorated and maintained, but it also had everything we needed. There were thoughtful care kits in every bathroom and the kitchen was fully stocked with the right type of dishes and cookware for a place in this setting, but also with dishwasher pods, paper products, towels and trash bags. we brought lots of things we didn't need because we are used to traveling places where those things aren't provided. Even the laundry room was stocked with detergents, etc. It was just a really nice place and the backyard firepit was awesome (also stocked with tons of firewood)! One thing that's always a big deal to me when i travel is comfort - my husband is 6'8" (VERY TALL) and a husky guy, and we were very comfortable in the master bedroom. when you go somewhere and you don't get good sleep, it can ruin a vacation, but the beds were all very comfortable and even the sheets and covers were all just really soft and comfy. we had plenty of extra pillows and bedding for the air mattress we brought for our 4 year old. The place even had step stools for our littles - they felt right at home. i can't remember a place i've stayed that's matched this and i travel A LOT!!! We will be back! PLus Brown County is just stunning!

Beautiful, well-stocked cabin
We really enjoyed our stay! It was definitely the best stocked and best organized rental we've ever rented. The living space was nice and open with enough seating that all our friends could hang out in the same space together. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean, too. All the pillows, sheets, towels, soap, shampoo. etc,. were very high quality. The firepit was a lovely space as well. The cabin sits right on SR 46, so traffic noise was a little loud, and there is a parking lot behind the cabin where semi trailers park through the night, but the less-than-remote location also means the cabin is just minutes from some of the best distilleries and wineries in Brown County. We would definitely stay here again!
