The was not a good stay. Do not believe the high quality rating that I saw when I made this reservation. If you are nostalgic for a 60's era roadside motel, with original carpeting and plywood paneling, then this is your place. The windows in the door, that did not have a deadbolt lock, made ouir stay feel unsafe and lacked privacy. There is no ocean view from you cabin unless you walk through the parking lot, and over the berm.
Well this place was perfect for a quick weekend trip for my family. Right on the beach, clean, pool, full fridge and oven. If you’re coming to the banks to enjoy the beach and not the million dollar house you’ll never be able to afford, then come here. No glitz, no glam, but perfect for the fisherman or beach bum. You can walk to the pier and several restaurants from here. My wife and I and our kids (7yo, 6months), stayed in an “economy studio” which was plenty of space for us. We really used the room to sleep and shower and that was about it, but it was very clean and comfortable. I will book again in the future. Only complaint I’d have is that the bathroom was tight, but that’s about it.
