Close to the University. That was our main objective. We wanted to get there, park the car, and be able to walk most places. Staff was kind and helpful. Our shower head was broken and they had it replaced quickly. Rooms are large & spacious & the beds were fairly comfortable. Yes the train runs to the back of the building. You will hear it. We just turned on the fan setting on the A/C unit and slept great.

Nicely remodeled and felt very clean. Unfortunately our TV did not work with Roku or the DirectTV so subtracting a star for that. The staff was really friendly and the complimentary breakfast was good. You can tell they're still in the process of remodeling so some construction stuff going on. McDonald's shares the same parking lot so there was traffic coming and going. The location was what we really wanted as we were able to walk to our show at the university and to the restaurant we had resevations at which really saved us on the stress of driving around and finding parking.

The hotel is located adjacent to a rail line. The trains travel at night and the horn when they are crossing the nearest road is really unnerving. Even using the air conditioner unit didn't help much. Otherwise, the place was good.

Need to simplify the TV system. Needing 2 remotes to operate is stupid. Need to keep it simple. I understand the laminate, but prefer carpeting myself. As usual, the heater system was not good. Like most rooms, you can hang locker beef cold. Or it's like a sauna, no happy medium. And baseboard heaters ALWAYS take so long to adjust. I am a fairly tall person and foun d the bed too tall to get into. Can't imagine what a short person has to do.

This is quite possibly the saddest hotel we have ever stayed in. The rooms were adequate, barely. But the rest of the hotel was a mess. We had a second floor room and stairs were very risky as they had no handrails at all. Will say staff was nice. Breakfast was okay but room served in very sad. Just the entire place was shabby and rundown.
