The room was dirty! Dirty underwear was in the bathroom, no cold Water at the sink, carpet had dirt/strings all over it, bed pillows were flat as a pancake. Didn’t shower cuz the bath towels looked dirty and were folded so messy.the headboard and mirror was all streaky. Just gross! No one around to even complain too!

Someone’s dirty underwear in the bathroom on floor. So that tells me how the place is cleaned! GROSS!

SureStay by Best Western Meridian - STAY AWAY

We booked this hotel on our way from SC to TX. My wife & I arrived late in the evening with 2 doggies, tired and ready to go to bed. Almost all hotels in the area were sold out so we knew we had little choice and we were ready to compromise on comfort. However, after entering the room: fridge was broken, water on all shelves, cleaned that out. Table & TV cabinet hadn't been cleaned or dusted in a long time, too dirty to even put our car keys pn top, cleaned those. Faucet was broke, only had hot water. Ready to go to bed I fulled down the sheets, they were full of large burn holes (in a non smoking room). Finally I looked at the pillows: one side had a large yellow spot, turned it over and I was close to vomiting (see picture). Worst experience I've ever had, and I travelled the world for many years. We left immediately and the guy at the desk even told us he know about the issues. Unacceptable and shameful.

If your are looking clean safe place to stay cheap off the express way, this ain’t it! Have you ever heard of cutting corners? This hotel definitely embraces the practice. Every corner of our room was dirty. Hair in the shower, concrete dust at the doorway, discolored towels, and even the breakfast tasted awful. Hard pass.

The hotel room was clean . Bed was comfortable and A\C was powerful. That was the good. The bad was the toilet was broken and wouldn’t flush. I did let desk know when I left. Also the free breakfast was little to be desired not much selection waffle maker, toast and stale cereal. It was a good stay but could be much better.

The property is pretty old with no elevator to the 2nd floor. The Front Desk Clerk was nice, but not knowledgeable. The room was Non-Smoking, but you could still smell smoke, and the a/c filter was dirty. (I'm an old a/c man) The bathroom floor was not clean. On the plus side: The bathtub water pressure and the water temperature were good. The a/c worked well and the room was nice and cold when I got there.
