LOVED IT!!!

We went for our anniversary. The staff was wonderful. We loved the pool, hot tub and the room. Although you were close to shops, restaurants and the beach, you felt like you were away from it all. And the cookies were delicious.

The history of the home is still present however with an up to date feel. Well balanced between the two. The welcome was warm as are all the amenities they offer. The cookies are moreish. Would stay again.

Quick trip to Melbourne Beach

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. All the staff were very friendly and every little detail has been well planned. The amenities like the complimentary snack bar, beach towels, bottled waters in the room are just some examples. Breakfast was delicious as well. We will definitely make a return visit!

Great BnB including food and location

Great property, gardens, room and service. Directly across from the beach and walkable to many restaurants. They have beach and pools equipment available 24/7. Breakfast in the garden next to the waterfall was perfect and delicious!

The property and staff are a 10/10. Food and amenities were great. Not much to do directly around the facility minus the beach but you are 8 min from downtown which has great bars and shops. Highly recommend

Loved this Bed and Breakfast. The breakfast was served either in the main house or brought to your room. The cookies that were left out for us all day long, were DELICIOUS! The staff was friendly and kind.

Wonderful Bed & Breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at Port d'Hiver. The room and property are beautiful, and comfortable. The suite we were in (Walter's Suite) was lovely. The shower had built in wall spray nozzles that pointed straight at the shower door and caused water to go under the door and soak the floor. The handle to the nozzles was also very loose. We meant to mention it to the staff while there, but we did not, I'm sure they could easily have fixed the handle... the nozzles facing the shower door will be more difficult to resolve. However, all in all, we highly recommend Port d'Hiver!
