I paid for a king accessible room. The staff was very accommodating and even assisted me and my luggage to my room. I was taken to the furthest room on the end. When I got into the bathroom, there was a corner of the wall near the sink and bathroom and it looked like it was undergoing repairs. I thought, ok, use the wall. Then I took a shower. No bar in the tub? I had just finished rinsing when the handle fell off and landed in the tub!! I yanked back the curtain and bumped my hand on something metal. I pulled the curtain in the opposite direction and found the safety bar AND a sign warning me to place a mat on the tub to prevent falls. How was I to know to lift the entire curtain to search for hidden accessories? I finally got settled into bed, grabbed the remote...didn’t work. Had to get up, got down to the desk. Got up a 2:30 to pee. Watched a cockroach scurry across the bathroom floor towards the bed. Yup. I asked about the "handicap accessible room." I was told that since the elevator was broke, they thought they would give me a more accesible room to get to. (All the handicap ♿️ rooms are on the second floor). I said it would have been nice to inform me. That staff member that night did apologize. The next morning, as I was leaving, I stopped at the desk and spoke with a gentleman and told him I was extremely unhappy with my stay and why. He replied, "I'll let management know." I never heard from anyone.
