Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through middle to late June. Great hotel. Clean and quiet. The only problem I had was with staff at front desk. She was not very informative or friendly and seemed put out when I asked questions. Also, was quoted $25 for valet parking online and was told it had changed to $35 at desk. A second staff member rudely chimed in when I tried to explain this and said “well, the price just changed and it is what it is.”

Sadly, Not a Typical Westin Stay

Very disappointed with this Westin Property. 1) A/C not working in room - was told they have several rooms with same a/c issues. 2) Maintenance visited our room 2X before they gave us a new room - only after we requested a room change at 830PM. 3) Restaurant closes @ 9PM and with a very limited room svc menu thereafter. 4) Reason given for early restaurant closing “all the restaurants in this area close at 9.” 5) Asked for some sort of compensation for these challenges and was told, “I can’t do that as I don’t have authority to do so and one who does, is here.” 6) VERY disappointed in Westin for this experience especially when paying ~$500/night. 7) Best part of our stay? The valet team!! Fun, happy, welcoming people. Thanks guys!!! Westin, you can do better and more importantly, you SHOULD do better.

No room darkening curtains. Food was straight from the Sysco truck. Bathroom was worse than a hospital bathroom in design- quite shocking! Hair on the floor on arrival. No path to parking area other than a hill path that guests have created which is steep and slippery.

The absolute BEST customer service and cleanliness

The best hotel ever! Beautiful (so many windows!), clean, the very best service! Every staff member is kind an accommodating. So many special perks for your pups. The location is perfect, right on the village with lots of shops and restaurants. I would love to stay here again for a longer amount of time.
