This place is historic, classy and beautiful. Huge bathroom, loved it. The breakfast we strongly recommend, it was absolutely fantastic. They have a chef on staff, with homemade jams, breads and pastries - along with a bunch of other things I had never had before, but were absolutely amazing. I would go for the breakfast alone. No joke, that good, that beautiful, that amazing. Beautiful location, close to everything. Definitely go for the breakfast!!!

Very disrespectful front desk representatives. I had two issues (dirty tower with female make-up & my black jeans left a black mark on the bed sheets) with my room after check out and the front desk representative tried to take my entire 250 euro deposit! I wasn't happy with the staff service. Very disrespectful to my family and me as if we were immigrants in their country! Parking was a property considering how much the nightly rate for the room We will not return to Luxembourg City! No way! I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone, not even my worst enemy!! Thank you!!

Tired room in a hotel from the 70s
Tired room that needs a refresh. Walls are somewhat thin. Pillows are awful because they're just air. Bed was ok. Shower was warm and had good pressure, but the head would only point out of the bathtub, which drenched the floor in water. Overall ok, but really needs an update.

It was a great hotel and central location to easily walk to the main attractions. Great reception and bar service team - they couldn't do enough for you, very attentive, thank you. Helped out when the bed was not very good, moved us to another room for the remainder of our stay. The limited breakfast options and more dated decor in most parts of the hotel let us down on the total experience.

I love this hotel - it has an old fashioned hotel feel to it. It was decorated wonderfully for Christmas. The cocktail bar is excellent. The room are clean and spacious but you must remember this is a very old building. There isnt all the mod cons. The hairdryer for example was very old fashioned. But we liked this feel. Very authentic.

The Cravat is a lovely hotel in the City centre. I was given a brilliant room on the 5th floor with a balcony. I do like the fact that I was given a tasty apple every day.

Great classic hotel
Excellent location and a great bar area. The hotel will recommend parking nearby if you send them an email. One suggestion was free on the weekends but a 20 minute walk away. Otherwise there is a garage a block away but it’s about 35€ per day and busy on a Saturday.

The hotel was easy to get to on the free public transport from the airport, and ideally located for the centre of the city. We had breakfast which was extensive, all the staff were very helpful. I would stay again and recommend.

We were so pleased with everything during our two-night stay. Our room was spacious and overlooked the city. Large bathroom with amenities, including bathrobes. The beds were wonderful. The elegant decor and architecture was very well maintained. Several turn-of-the century seating areas and beautiful wooden bar and winding staircase. Unfortunately, we had much rain, but the proximity to numerous restaurants and sites still lured us! The breakfast was extremely well-displayed with a great variety of foods. Attentive servers! The reception gentleman went above-and-beyond, providing us with information, maps, answering our questions about the history of the hotel, restaurants, tram connections to the train station, —and all with wit and a bit of humor! But he did not laugh at my very limited French! (We are from Seattle, Washington, USA.). Would LOVE to be able to return here someday…

In the center of everything! We walked to all the restaurants and shopping. Beautiful sights to see right there. Took bus 16 from and to the airport. It’s free. 25 min. Would highly recommend this hotel
