This was an amazing hotel. The decor is beautiful. Staff friendly and on top of your needs. I stayed here for my birthday weekend and will keep and will return on my next visit to L.A.

Underwhelming
This hotel needs a serious upgrade. The rooms were rusty and old, the hallways gloomy and dark, old ripped up towels and so was the robe requested. The employees at front desk were kind and helpful but the restaurant staff only seemed to say no to everything. When you walk in the hotel there is rolled up carpets and uninviting.

Step into Italy
When you walk into this hotel, it feels like you're stepping into Europe. The lobby area and all the cafes/restaurants, and rooftop pool/bar are incredible. We went here for a staycation and are so glad we did.

Since they do not offer parking they should provide us with a voucher or discount. It’s inconvenient that parking is not available and the only one close costs 36 dollars every time you exit the parking structure. This forces you to not move your car even if your stay is multiple days.

Loved the property, loved the room and staff! Everything was exceptionally clean and well appointed, the staff were attentive and helpful. The rooftop pool was out of this world beautiful, surrounded by potted citrus trees and flowers. Would stay there again if it were located anywhere else. The neighborhood was mainly full of folks experiencing homelessness, addiction and obvious mental illness. My kiddo and I walked around a lot, at least 10 blocks in every direction, and we mostly saw graffiti, boarded up or empty storefronts, and everything was extremely dirty. A block away we stepped around three individuals smoking crack and fighting in broad daylight. At a restaurant about 5 blocks away, an individual obviously experiencing a mental break attacked a server while we were eating. I was followed and harassed on the street, and felt extremely unsafe.
