Dog and us!

We arrived on a Monday in winter and were the only guests that night! Our room was great - spacious and comfy. Our dog was accommodated with a bed and towels to wash off beach sand. The area is great for walking. We did not try the saloon as we got cold while out walking.

It was a great stay. The manager Glenn came in and had someone come into the bar/ restaurant so we could have dinner there. Kallie the cook was very friendly and came in just so we could have dinner. Syn the housekeeper does an amazing job. We are repeat travelers and the room has always been very clean. She also Brought us waters and chocolates and asked if we needed anything else. They all gave above and beyond!!

Unable to check in. Arrived at property at 3:30. Clear instructions for self check in but the process didn’t work because I was never sent a confirmation code from Fireside. Called at 3:39 and 3:45, but no one answered despite the number being listed as the number to call if help was needed checking in. Also sent messages to the host through Expedia but no one responded. Had to get a different hotel room. Received the door code at 6:55 pm. I was never called back.

The bed was too hard for our liking but everything else about this inn was wonderful! Very clean, had dog stuff for our dog, and the staff were all friendly! Will definitely stay here again as well as recommend to our friends/family!
