Reception staff were very friendly & helpful. Cleanliness was outstanding! Absolutely spotless. Bed was very comfortable; the shower was fantastic 😊 Location of hotel is great…very close to Paddington station; overlooking lovely Norfolk square.

After a disaster of a day, going to st. David’s hotel was a life saver. Alisha, who was working the front desk offered such kindness and accommodation to me knowing I had such a rough day. If it weren’t for her I’m not sure what I would have done- she is awesome. Not to mention, the hotel is so cute and offers a very homey feel to it. It is very close to the paddington station which was super convenient and has lots of food and shops around the area. Would most definitely come back and stay when I come back to London and couldn’t recommend this place more!!

The proximity to Paddington station made staying here the night before our departure at LHR really convenient. The Heathrow express train is just a 15 minute ride to Heathrow Airport. There are many great restaurants and pubs right around the corner. The room has USB chargers but no c chargers in the wall so remember to have a European outlet converter and a c charger if you have a newer phone. I was able to borrow a converter from the concierge which was a huge lifesaver. The room is not large and the layout of the place was a little quirky. Our room was downstairs and through several doors that made it feel a bit confusing. The room itself was clean and simple. The double bed/bunkbed set up was great for staying with two teens. The beds were decent, comfortable enough but not luxurious. Although I loved the proximity of the hotel to Paddington Station, the tradeoff is that you actually feel and hear the trains as they pass. It is a bit loud so if you are a light sleeper be prepared. They actually use real keys at this hotel and require you to leave the key when you leave the building. The lobby has a water tap that has cold still and sparkling water that is free. There is a Nespresso machine in the lobby but you have to pay to use it. I would have appreciated a complimentary coffee in the morning as we headed out. We only stayed for one night but I was satisfied with the location and thought the staff were friendly and welcoming. All in all, I was satisfied with my stay.

Great experience
Hotel on budget, well managed, very clean and perfectly well located. Thats all you need for short stay in busy city of London. I arrived for one night, but happened to stay longer, staff was absolutely amaizing and very helpful.

Comfortable, Economical Stay
As expected, the en suite twin room was compact, but clean and comfortable. The free luggage storage, before check-in and after check-out, was a great advantage, and I appreciated the bags being taken to my room. The staff at 24-hour reception was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on quiet, tree-lined street just a few blocks from Paddington Station and near Hyde Park and museums. I would stay again.

It was basic accomodation but was clean and the facilities provided were of a good standard. For a single night stay it was well worth the money,as it was close to a variety of cafes and restaurants so there was no need for more at the hotel

Stayed here with my two daughters for an overnight in London. The area was conveniently located to Paddington train station which was a perfect for using the Tube and the trains that went to Heathrow airport. The neighborhood was safe and had beautiful tree lined streets. I selected this hotel because of location and the fact that the room slept three people. However, I was disappointed our room was in the lower level (basement) of the hotel. I would’ve thought $400/night would have granted a bit more luxury. The room had been recently updated but had a musty odor which we think was coming from the mattresses. All in all the room worked out well for what we needed but I am glad it was for only one night.

Most importantly, the room is clean. Smallest room that we’ve ever stayed in. No fridge and they don’t have ice. You had better be okay with stairs as there is no lift.
