My flight was delayed overnight, and when I finally arrived, exhausted and in need of rest, the hotel manager, refused to do anything except take my money or take more money for another night fee. He wouldn't even allow me to check in late and sleep for an hour until late checkout time.

The first room had a beeping smoke detector, broken lamp shade and plenty of stains on the carpet. Front desk was very nice and moved us promptly to another room. This one was clearner and no beeping noises (bc it had NO smoke alarm). Very loud outside throughout the night.
